Fix Twisted Treeline

With the news of Nexus Blitz no longer being a permanent game mode I feel like Twisted Treeline could be an amazing replacement if done right. Twisted is already a permanent game mode but it's unbalanced and dead. It's a fun game made to play a quick game with a few friends if only you didn't see the same couple broken champions every game. Funneling is still a problem, not to mention indirect nerfs/buffs that happen like ghost poro (which was meta defining in 3v3), and Vilemaw is a joke of an objective that feels bad to use because it messes up waveclear by fearing minions out of waveclear spells for mages.

If Riot wants a quick more laid back gamemode (like blitz) then Twisted Treeline is the way to go. It even has a rank system for those who WANT to get competitive about it. If they just put some resources into it, it could be a really nice game mode.

TT definitely needs some attention. Riot doesn't even address bugs in a timely manner. They don't need to completely rework it, just fix bugs and make some tweeks like the vile fear effect you mentioned.

I disagree that it's a dead mode, plenty of people play it and it has a healthy community that would thrive if Riot showed it any light. Also, I feel that 'funneling' is a crucial part of the TT ecosystem and that it actually helps to balance the map by making room for archetypes like adc's and supports among the standard bruisers and mages. Removing 'funneling' would nuke champion diversity into the stone age and likely kill the map.

Yeah, that's totally true, I would hate for them to delete the support items that they preserved on the map. Face of the Mountain is great.

Funneling sucks to play against though, and it's not exactly fun to play unless you're running a premade.

Upvoted, agreeing with first sentence. Then saw the rest. You haven't played nearly enough TT, m8.

Twisted Treeline is anything but laid back. There is no vision and a single mistake in the first 5-10 minutes often costs you the game. In fact, most games are decided by the 10 minute mark.

An actual laid back mode would be something like Ascension, where you can just pick whatever you want without fear of gettting snowballed on. Anything goes, as long as you don't run a comp with multiple adcs. You also get to reach full build every game.

But that's work. They wont do that. at least no longer then a few months and revert it and say "Thanks for playing!" I'm not Bitter. You're Bitter. [zombie-nunu-bummed]

Think they gave up on TT. It's never pulled enough numbers even back when they did balance it. Pretty sure it's going to face the same fate as dominion eventually
