Duo with a bronze 5, carry. Duo with a smurf, get carried.

Those are your only choices at this point

It's an idea, but I hate smurfs and hmm I might find a bronze 5

You generally seem to have a decent KDA and more or less acceptable CS. What do you do when you have a lead? Do you try to split push a lot and get caught out? Do you run around the map prioritizing kills over objectives? If you can triple kill the enemy or take a tower do you take the kills?

Also looking at your builds do you usually play Shadow Assassin or an even split of him and Rhaast? I don't play Kayne, but I hear SA is only good if you're obscenely fed and I assume he gets outscaled by Rhaast.

There are whole hosts of videos up on youtube dedicated to helping people improve and explain elements of the game some people may not fully grasp without being taught.

I try to split push, I try to push, i try to help team, donno depends. Maybe I need to get a split pushing champion? Is it better?

I usually play adc. But without a decent sup, can';t do much since they all focus you. But kayn jungle seemed a solid pick. seemed. I'm trying Lee, looks better, can gank faster.

I watched some videos, but I don't know, I try to do those, but they work in theory but practice sux. I'm not saying they don't work, just myabe i do them in a wrong way

Thanks for replying

Hmm. It's kinda hard to say what you're doing wrong without actually seeing a game. You don't necessarily need a split pushing champ, but what I was getting at is a lot of people in lower elo don't split push at appropriate times and the enemy team bum-rushes them or the 4-man unit

Watch youtube videos and get advice from someone who figured it out already. I recommend Blitz Esports or the official LoL esports channel and watch there break down video. It mostly focuses on organized competitive play especially the official channel but they have tips that can be used for solo queue too .(https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6GOH7UCsDwjWzGktJmsTwQ ) Seeing as you mostly jg you could as watch foxdrop whos a diamond jg who makes great guides although he can be repetitive(https://www.youtube.com/user/foxdropLoL )

Hey there! So i see your not getting many good responses. I am a mid-level platinum support main, let me offer you some tips for climbing in ranked.

1.) The very first thing I'd like you to do is compare your match history with mine, and look at on average, how many times you die per game vs how many times I die per game. Death count is the single biggest thing you can do to impact your ability to win a ranked match. Because if you die, not only do you lose the ability to affect the game, but you are powering up your enemies. One of the biggest differences between platinum players and Silver/Gold players is they realize how much a single death can cost. That's my first tip. Do. Not. Die. I don't care how you accomplish it, but don't. Someone else in the thread said you have a solid KDA - I humbly disagree. Work on this first and foremost.

2.) Be intimately familiar with any champion you take into ranked. You don't want to be thinking about build order or how abilities scale/work during the match. If your going to a website to look up a champion guide to help you, that's even worse. I don't care how OP a champion is - if you don't know what your doing, your not going to have a good game. 2nd tip? Only play champions you are an EXPERT at. Pick a role and try to main it - **every single role can carry you to platinum. ** Also, don't worry about counter-picking too much at this stage - it doesn't start really affecting games until Platinum levels of play. Picking a champion that you don't know because it 'fits the comp' or 'counters my lane opponent' is an ABSOLUTE mistake. Do. Not. Do. It. You will always play better with a champion you know in and out, EVEN if its in a role you don't like.

3.) Keep an eye on every player in the game, and know if they are 'Strong / Average / Weak' .. I mean this in terms of how fed they are, and how much you trust them as a player. As an ADC player, by the time you hit 6, you've already developed an opinion on your support. Start doing this for everyone, including your enemies. If you judge that the enemy ADC is garbage, you can exploit that. If you judge that the enemy jungler is a god, and is already getting fed, then you know you need to start playing MUCH safer this game, or you WILL get ganked, and he will win the game because he is so far ahead. So 3rd tip? Know who is strong; know who is weak. Do not feed the strong players, or you will lose.

4.) Last tip! Do not focus on if you won or lost - this will lead to rage. Even the best of the best only win about 65% of the time over the long term. Instead, focus on how YOU played. What did you do right? what did you do wrong? Some games, despite your best efforts, are completely unwinnable. You can't carry a support who is going to feed, know that many games will be like this, all you can do is play your best, and try to win.

5.) Bonus tip: In the current meta, and especially in Silver/Gold elos, games tend to stagnate because the player-base is scared and does not push aggressively. Because of this, **Champions that scale well into late game are more powerful. ** You don't want to be playing a champion who falls off in this meta. It starts changing @ mid-to-high platinum, as I am discovering.

You most likely need to watch more people play, and preferably someone who explains why they are making the decisions they are making. Watching people play helps in general, but understanding their thought process makes it easier for you to identify these things in your games.

Check out youtube channels like Foxdrop, Phylol, SoloRenektonOnly, and Anklespankin. All of them try to explain what they are doing

I would highly recommend Prismal. He streams on Twitch and occasionally posts Youtube videos. He isn't as consistent as the ones I mentioned above, but he's a Challenger, so he has a ton of knowledge that most of us don't have. Below are two videos that he did with Anklespankin that eventually lead him to start streaming/recording. He offers a ton of information that kinda makes your head spin the first time watching it, but it makes sense when you actually stop and think about it. If you catch him in a stream, ask if he'll do an informative stream, cause he'll explain everything going through his head while he plays. To preface this, these videos are kinda old now, but you can see how much information he provides during the game.

I assume you are trying to get Gold for rewards, so this piece of advice probably won't help you right now, but I'd recommend making a second account. We tend to really put a lot of pressure on ourselves when playing on our main account, so by playing on a side account, you'll be more relaxed about a loss and maybe learn to not tilt as much.

I managed to get my main account to Gold 5 and sorta panicked when I lost a few games which put me at 2 lp, so I stopped playing ranked on it. However, I still wanted to play League, so I started playing Ranked on the account I made to teach a friend the game. I ended up getting Gold 3 on that account in about a 1/7 of the games I had on my main. Some of that is my MMR on the new account wasn't so screwed up from me learning, so I was able to climb faster. I also think some of it is because I already knew I could get Gold since I was Gold on my main, so I wasn't as worried when I got to promos like I had been on my main. Additionally, that wasn't my main account, so when I was placed Bronze 1 after placements, I mentally knew that wasn't my true rank and didn't let it intimidate me.

In the new season, you might considering starting out by playing on a second account so you can learn, and then playing on your main when you feel like you know stuff. You won't mess up your MMR on your main that way while you learn the new Runes, and you'll be a little more relaxed because you aren't ruining your main account if you lose a few games.

I also highly recommend watching videos on other roles as well. You play a lot of Jungle, which means you can affect the whole map. If you understand your lanes, you'll be able to help them more. SoloRenektonOnly is a top laner and he'll talk about how Junglers don't know what to do when a laner dies, that they half push a wave instead of freezing it when their laner dies which puts the laner even further behind, how they don't recognize that a lane will be pushing to your team in a minute which is a perfect gank opportunity, or that he set up a freeze and thus can't really respond if his jungler is invading or being invaded.

Again, low elo players aren't as aware of these things, but if you can see it, you can start to predict what the enemy would do and maybe help save your team. If your top laner is pushing, maybe you need to be near top to help countergank. Do you see that the enemy bot lane is a Caitlyn or Trist, they'll probably push, so when you see the wave around mid, look at see which way the lane is pushing and see if you can gank them just to relieve some pressure from your laners. Is there a mid lane bully like Syndra, she will probably be pushing/poking so your lane might need you to come to lane to scare her off so they can waveclear and back without losing too much CS.
