Why is Caitlyn not getting nerfed?

She is being picked in pretty much every single game now if she is not banned. Every single game I see Caitlyn getting fed. She has the best safety out of any champion in the game. It is literally impossible to fuck up on this champion now.

She is sitting at 51% winrate and 26% playrate.

Why is a champion allowed to have 700 attack range while also having CC abilities and a dash? With Stromrazer the way it is, it is pretty much impossible now to reach her because of her long range and safety. It is a fucking joke that she is allowed to chain CC a target and then deal half their HP bar because they stepped on a trap, which by the way has a fucking up hitbox that still stunned targets even if they walked around it.

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT KAI'SA AND XAYAH, WHEN CAITLYN IS THE WAY SHE IS. No other ADC champion comes close to Caitlyn level broken. Before you downvote, notice how many Caitlyn's you have seen in this preseason and how many get fed every game.

Adcs champions are by far the fewest in their respective roles and all (for a few off-meta exceptions) are stuffed into the same role. About 50-75% are basically always nerfed to trash tier or actually somewhat balanced, but are always outshined by a select few who just massacre every other lane.

Last year worlds - early 2019 it was Lucian then Vayne for 1/3 of the year then Xayah and Kai'Sa up until recently.

Now that those 2 were somewhat nerfed, Cait, who got quite a bit of compensation buffs this year, outshines all other adcs atm.

Don't step on traps.

Moreover some of the things you said about Caitlyn just aren't accurate. I lane against Caitlyn all the time, and it isn't an issue for several ADCs including but not limited to Twitch Jhin Ashe Sivir Jinx hell even KogMaw can get in there after he gets 4-5 ranks in his Bio-Arcane Barrage.

She doesn't have the best safety out of all ADC champions. She's not even in the top 3. Those spots are for Ezreal, Kai'sa, and Xayah respectively.

She does do an obnoxious amount of poke damage though, and in solo queue that can be difficult to deal with. I don't think she's balanced like people here are trying to insinuate. Comparing Masters, Grandmaster, and Challenger games to our low ELO solo queue games is almost as pointless comparing it to the professional scene. What works in our environment at Diamond and below doesn't translate to super high ELO, and vice versa.

However, when I think of all the problems happening bot lane, she's far from my biggest concern.

Just tell your support to pick Nautilus. Even if they were playing blindfolded, that anchor hitbox is so busted that they'd probably lock her down half the time.

Caitlynn was 100% pick or ban throughout my clash experience and whenever I play Normals we always ban Caitlyn, especially since I'm a melee toplaner there's no chance I'd ever get to kill her

Kaisa has to get upclose and personal to do her damage so at least she's manageable lol
