most rewarding top laner to master?

Bank Plank has the most treasure.

Gnar is probably the most mechanically difficult and versatile of the entire top lane pool. When you get skilled with him, the playmaking options and sheer damage that comes out of him is incredibly rewarding. Mastering Rumble is also very rewarding in its own way as well, though the mastery curve is a fair bit lower.

Poppy is quite fun, extremely disruptive, and has great stats/ build options. She's quite easy to play though, so if you're looking for a deep mastery curve you won't find it there.

My vote for most rewarding top laner goes to , though.

I feel like Rumble and Kennen are really underrated

I'd say a few of the big ones; Malphite, Nautilus is very powerful when mastered. I prefer Nunu top, but he's not exactly meta. He's more or less a fun cheese to the AD people are putting up there now.

Uh, a good Rumble is terrifying. I've been afraid of them.

TBH; Any champion is really strong when mastered, if you find a champion you love to play top then do it; No one can tell you you're playing the game wrong.

I.E; You master Urgot or Yorick, team threatens you? Pfft. It's not against Summoner's Code to pick them, but you will have a hard time without a frontline if you do end up playing Urgot.

Plenty actually, Gnar, Poppy, Gangplank, Rumble, Maokai, Nautilus, just to name a few. Which to pick is up to you depending on your preferences, really.

Rumble. Riven, Fiora, Poppy. Probably Fiora if I could only pick one.

I think Irelia is a good one. She takes a bit to master as you have to know when to stun, and getting damage off too is tricky. She is great in many top lane matches, and even if she's against a counter, she can play safe and farm up until a jungler ganks. She's also one of the best champions that can turn turret divers into kills as she can stun and ult, healing off the damage while the turret helps kill the perpetrator.

Illaoi is very fun to play top, especially when you master playing around tentacles and comboing with her.

Also as a by product of popular opinion being that she is trash your lane opponent will underestimate your damage output/healing and either trade badly or put themselves in an awkward situation.

Then of course there is the team fighting where you transcend reality and become a giant octopus slapping everyone around. I love those moments.

Gangplank and Fiora are just broken at the moment, they will be nerf hammered otherwise it would be them. However champions like Irelia, Renekton, and Malphite all are very high impact top laners.

Riven, when not countered by meta champs like she is now, is a complete monster when you get animation cancelling down. He burst becomes rengar level as aoe.

The most rewarding? Probably Gangplank, Irelia, and Riven. But Riven takes a long ass time to master compared to a lot of other Champs so I wouldn't recommend that one.

AS/AD or AS Aatrox is my preference. Always level W first then q then e. Build Guinsoos,Bloodthirster, Duskblade, Devourer, Mercurial Scimitar, and any item after that.

As of the current meta, I'd say Fiora and Quinn. Fiora can tank down tanks like it's nothing and Quinn with early harass can get tanks down too with her passve Q and E for kiting them.
