Which is better on new Garen? 10% Attack Speed rune or 9 Adaptive Force rune?

Adaptive force makes his E spin ticks deal 3.2 (at max lvl for AD Scaling) more dmg per tick. I believe the max ticks with no attack speed is 12, so that would be an additional 38.4 dmg over the duration of his E. 10% attack speed gives him half an E spin tick , which if you add up all of the bonuses just based on base stats (no items and assuming average of 12 ticks of his E at lvl 18) would equate to 44.5 (Math = ((142.5 * 0.4) + 8 + 24) / 2 = 44.5) extra dmg for his E. That is technically not how it'd work, because it doesn't give a full tick, but gives you half of the amount required for another tick of E; in theory if the 10% AS bonus can help you reach another tick of E that you wouldn't have gotten without it, it'd be 89 extra damage for his E. Also, we have to take into account his early game and if more AS or more AD will help more. And I haven't taken into account the extra basic attacks due to AS or the extra 3.6 dmg his Q does with the 9 extra adaptive force.

Your thoughts on the better Offense rune for new Garen Garen ?

Does it still apply on-hit effects?

Yes, 10% attack speed rune does literally nothing for his spin. Don't take it.

Of course, an extra tick would also help build Conqueror's faster and apply the extra AD from Conqueror too; so there is also that to consider.

Also, here is another discussion. Black Cleaver or Trinity Force on new Garen? Old Garen was a fool to choose Trinity over Black Cleaver, but new Garen gets two ticks of his E off of it. Is it worth +733 gold, 150 HP, 15 AD, a 24% Armor Shred, and extra movement speed during his E compared to just when AAing to get instead +2 ticks of E (due to 40% Attack Speed), +5% Movement Speed, and Spell Blade (200% base AD bonus physical damage on-hit after using an ability; 1.5 Second Cooldown)? Old Garen was prized for his tankiness and armor shred abilities; is the powerspike delay of forgoing a Black Cleaver worth a Trinity Force on new Garen?

Runes dont effect his E spin count, if you read it, it says "scales with attack speed from items and levels". Adaptive is way better.
