Well, true damage cannot be reduced by damage reduction, whereas physical damage could theorically still be reduced even if you have 100% armor penetration (theorically, because no champion can currently do this), so it cannot be truly considered "effective true damage"

Doesn't change what he meant. if he was wrong, that's his problem.

Also, that's only bonus armor pen, he's talking about 100% TOTAL armor pen which is effectively true damage.

Except it isnt. Abilities that reduce damage incoming by a % will still affect him.

Garen's courage for example will cut 30% of his damage output against garen no matter how much armor pen he has.

Ninja tabi will still be a viable buy against a theoretical 100% ar pen champion.

Ninja tabi doesnt interfere with item or spell effects only the physical damage from being hit with a basic attack. for example item 3042 and item 3153 item 3057 wont interact with ninja tabi even though they are proced through basic attacks which is very misleading same with auto attack based spells like oriannas passive and braums passive and ekkos passives

Ninja tabi was just an example of % reduction that applies despite 100% armor pen.

Notice how you failed to even respond to my first (and much stronger) point about garen's courage active, which is a 30% reduction of all damage taken by non-true sources, and how it would reduce a 100% armor shred yasuo's damage by 30% whether the yasuo likes it or not.

If you want to waste time, at least do so with a decent argument that attacks all valid points.

with mpen quints/marks and the item 3020 item 3136 powerspike, you actually do true damage to all champions without base mr scaling who did not build any mr past their runes
