Kai'Sa Kit: Riot Just Keeps Doing It To Themselves
Riot: hits blunt "Let's make a Marksman! Y'know, the class intended for high sustained DPS. Then let's give them super long range. And I mean SUPER long range, like 2500 units almost like
W...except just a lot more damage."
People With Common Sense: "Okay, I guess that works for a Marksm-"
Riot: "I'm not finished! She needs a high speed dash - also from super long range - and kit her other spells out like an assassin!"
PWCS: "But don't you think her range, kit and very high AD ratios will have an unhealthy interaction where she becomes oppressive when ahead? Her bonus damage to low-health minions will let her constantly push the wave and appear out of nowhere with very little chance at counterpl-"
Riot: "I DIDN'T SAY I WAS FINISHED YET! Make her Invisible. She isn't an assassin if enemy champs are allowed a chance to fight back."
PWCS: "B-b-b-but won't that mean being very difficult if-not-impossible to balance?! She has a very frustrating playstyle and there isn't much room to nerf her when she's too powerfu-"
Riot: "PFFFFFFFFFFFT! Who cares?! In a couple patches we'll nerf her really hard, then just shrug and rework her a couple times. That's what we do."
PWCS: "Why make all that work for yourself? Wouldn't it be more profitable to produce a healthy kit at its core that can be easily tuned to fit new season conditions for years to come, leaving more time to fix bugs, make new champions, save precious budget to add new content and improve the overall user experience? Maybe finally get to those auto-attack changes we planned years ago for when you shoot at someone who flashes or walks into brus-"
Riot: loudly crinkles a piece of plastic "WHAT WAS THAT?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU, YOU'RE BREAKING UP! I THINK WE NEED TO END THIS CALL!"
PWCS: "We can hear you just fine except for the crinkling plastic"
Riot: keeps doing it "THERE'S NO PLASTIC! I THINK WE HAVE A BAD CONNECTION! I'M GOING TO HANG UP NOW."
PWCS: "We're sitting right next to you."
Riot: picks up the phone and hangs it up
