Melee champions simply need more bulls**t than ranged to be effective.

There's a very simple reason why champion bans are VERY heavily weighted against melee champions.

Being melee is a huge disadvantage, and because of that the bulls**t in their kits needs to be stronger to compensate.

You know what, A melee champion with enough BS in their kit to remain a threat late game is the best definition of a Juggernaut I've heard so far.

You can be melee and still be a threat.

What you seem to be referring to, with the juggernaut comment, is that without mobility they won't be able to do well with ranged damage. This is true for juggernauts but is an intended weakness as Riot said.

They get full bullshit in their kits because they are Melee without a blink or mobility spell or the sorts. If they want it, they need their team to help with it or build for it.

This is more along the lines of understanding balance, and apparent strength. Vayne is the first time in a while I've seen the community real pissed off at a ranged champion. Usually its Le Blanc when that happens.

The post was tounge in cheek. There is plenty of melee bullshit that's not from Juggernauts.

I tend to be more pissed off at ranged champions, really.

Vayne/Kalista really piss people off because of the quick repositioning and peel they have for themselves with larger inate base damage due to a part of their kits, Silver Bolts and Rend.

I understand as a Garen main, Vayne will poop on me if I am not careful and respect what she can do to peel for herself, but also to understand the cooldown of her E mostly. I can still win this if I know her cooldowns and use my kit to get in when I can with Q. Also she will get crapped on if she gets ganked since she is so squishy in a long lane by herself.

That is how I viewed laning against ranged at least with Garen, or even Nasus who is my back-up for top lane. Along with Malphite if my team need a tank. I try to do that at least and well I'm only Gold 5, but this is what I think about and try to do when I consider someone taking an annoying ranged champion against me.

If done right, it's fine. In Garen's case, if he gets into Melee he will beat on people really badly. But if you kit him, he is easier to deal with.

I'm rambling late at night at this point lol, but more or less I think if done right the melee vs non melee is fine right now but I see why people get annoyed by it. Repeat the juggernaut stuff for understand what not having mobility should mean for a kit and it should work out.

This post was just a flippant remark, you might like reading my in-depth wall of text about marksmen, the meta, and their rework.

Part one is about the issues with marksmen on live, and part two is about the issues that the marksmen rework fixes, and the issues is makes even worse.

Well I usually am laid back and tend to be less serious, I know what that word means!

I can read the other stuff when I am not tired and it is late though.
