Mordekaiser with Sated Devouver Hits HIMSELF With On-hit Effects, Gets Awarded the Kill for Suicide

At first I thought Sated Devourer was simply non-functional during his Q, as it didn't make it go off in two hits, nor did it even double up on-hit effects every other auto. I was wrong! Seems it DOES apply on-hits, just to him rather than his target! And look, it's not even an execute!

And hey, redbuff refreshed after killing me!

I made this video on the PBE, but the same thing seems to be happening on live.

Edit - This did reduce my bounty!

Edit two - I'm working on an in depth video about this bug, and a ton of others with Mordekaiser and items. While doing so, I figured out Xin Zhao can also hit himself during his Q against inhibitors, but nothing else. Mordekaiser hits himself off anything during his Q.

Edit three - Wait, I just noticed there's a special graphic when I hit myself. What the hell?

That is hilarious. So GP use to be able to "deny" cs (along with friendly drop items), Taric could kill teammates and now Mord can suicide. Next Raka reverse Penta.

Have you not seen that Raka could also do the team killer heals like Taric? Back when it used to happen, I'm pretty sure Wish still did bonus healing if below half HP, which was basically an execute.

Yes I've seen this, it was the same type of bug that Taric had. I was actually thinking about this when I posted my other comment. Only instead of the AA's killing teammates somehow Wish becoming bugged to where it killed them.( and I didn't want to use Soraka twice in my first post.) Plus no other champ has a team benefit global.

There was a bit of time on the PBE earlier this Year where Ahri could kill teammates, Allied Minions and Structures with her Q. That was horrible.

My Guess: "Wow my summoner Got Devourer instead of Runeglaive or Warrior. I'm so useless now... Time to embrace the sweet release of death"

In s5, I didn't even bother upgrading my jungle item beyond stalker, because none of them really offered much while they slowed down my build. Now that trinity is pretty meh on him though, Runeglaive is more tempting, as is warrior now that it gives more AD but no arpen.

I would like to point out that GP's Deny Ability was actually Intentional. His E would kill a friendly minion to motivate other nearby units.

After testing this I can confirm he does indeed apply on-hit effects. This includes of course his red buff slow, Grasp of the Undying (Free Heal HO! considering he's healing for his max hp, he's healing more than he's hurting himself.) And most importantly... All of the procs that come with Q aside from the Q damage itself. Oops on Riot's side. Yet another screw up.

It wasn't accurate. Shows the on-hit from devourer killing me, yet it was red buff that finished me, and did the largest chunk of the damage.

For one, all HP costs on abilities only bring you down to 1 HP. Two, it's pretty clear that that's not what's going on. The HP cost on his Q is when you cast it, not when you swing it, and I'm very clearly burning from red buff xD.

The bounty is lowered. Its not in the video, but I checked my full length recording and it went for 5 stacks to 2, just like a normal death.

I don't know but I just played a game as sated morde, i didn't do any damage to myself i didnt apply red buff, does it only work on inhibitors?
