The new Ranked system is anti-friendship
It's catered towards meeting strangers in solo-queue instead of keeping friends afterwards. Do you have a friend who generally mains the same role as you? Well, I hope you like playing unranked matches, because you'll never get to play with him in ranked!
Like, damn. If you want to make matches more fair and balanced for people, why not just change the way MMR works? Why not stop allowing first-timers to play in the Silver ELO to make my life a living hell? At least by doing that, you won't be forcing me to stop playing with my friend when one of us yawns and feels like playing a different role for a change.
And imagine wanting to play a different role, and some people are gonna just chose their current role and be like, "OMG SWITCH WITH ME OR ME AND MY DUO TROLL!!!!!" You know how many people are gonna dodge from that?
