Getting sick of these autofill posts

You people seem to forget that less than a year ago THE ENTIRE GAME WAS AUTOFILL 100% OF THE TIME. Even with autofill, you are at least so much more likely to get one of your preferred roles. Seriously, I get that Riot has made some colossal fuck ups this year, but this is NOT one of them. You also fail to realize that any game in ~gold or lower will almost never be impacted by autofill, so just stop. It only kicks in when queue time is long, which simply does not happen at elos lower than ~plat, and even at plat (which is where I am atm) it rarely gets long enough for autofill to kick in.

You joking mate ? I'm at Silver 5 and auto-fill is permanently on down here. On the bright side. Queue times are incredibly short. The number one complaint is that I'm getting an awful lot of feeders due to people not being able to play the roles they were autofilled into. Just got two back to back games where my team fed all to fuck.

Also, queue time is the duration of time before the queue pops, which is categorically and factually shorter with autofill. Stop with your bullshit "technicalities". Queues pop way faster with autofill, to deny this is a failure to grasp reality.

i like the idea of having 2 preferred positions and chosing one that you do not wish to play, so even if auto filled happen you still wouldnt get your least favorite position

Ya, exactly this. No one should have to play their worst role, but these entitle kids think that they should be getting their main 95% of the time and bitch when they lose games because they got autofilled. All I can say to those people is "git gud".

and almost everyone picks support and the few remaining people will tend to get filled into support so more of them put support as their "pls no" role and the cycle repeats and queue time gets longer.

This is what happened before autofill: "fill" acquired a reputation as being functionally the same as "support"

For a few weeks the game was fine and fill only gave you support slightly more often than other roles, but more and more people dropped support from their secondary and dropped fill so they could support less often, and those that remained found that "fill" as your secondary felt exactly the same as "support" as your main.

I agree with you. Just a few days ago, I was posting in someone's board who hated the autofill system and complained about getting rid of it. I had to argue my point and say how it is needed.

welcome to my world... i got downvoted cuz i was using cap... i was online while at work and for the programs i use at work all the commands has to be in caps so i just leave the computer in caps lock so i get flack , downvoted and shit talked for using caps and has nothing to do with what was stated in my post
