Riot, do you even ARAM?

"How many Rioters do you need to change a bulb?" "None, because bulb is balanced"

"What's called map that Riot forgot it existed?" "I don't remember"

"CertainlyT plays minecraft. Reworks his dirt house" "True damage, 3 hit passive, escape and 2 windows"

"Stashu made a good rework" "Nope, it's just a joke."

"december 2021, Riot finally fixed all bugs with Azir" "January 2022, Azir gets a rework"

"Why chicken crossed the street?" "Because she couldn't ward hop"

(lame) jokes aside.

I don't know how many Rioters work somewhere in Riot HQ. I don't know how many of said Rioters are in charge, capable of order stuff to be done. I have favour to ask of you, important figures at Riot:

For the love of god and everything that gives you money, FIX ARAM. Lots of people ABUSE ARAM by creating accounts with only the best ARAM picks. Either include all champions in ARAM pool, or promise me that you will never touch any fanmade gamemode. Seriously.

I swear, if Rioter will not reply and aid ARAM fans, then I'll be "hunting" Rioters on all boards asking them for ARAM. Seriously. Everywhere where Rioter shows, so will my question. I'll be as persistent, as persistent is your ignorance, Riot!

ARAM could be fixed in the same way Blizzard fixed twinking in WoW. Make two ARAM queues: one where everyone uses every champion and another where only the champions you own are available. Voila, fixed. ARAM accounts are only usable in a queue with nothing but ARAM accounts.

Never though of that possibility.

But wouldn't that thin out players per "mode"?

It would probably have the same effect as in WoW. Most of the people who do the ARAM accounts are doing it to get an advantage over others. The special queue (ARAM accounts) would likely have a very small playerbase and the main queue (all champions) would have a small reduction.

I dunno what kind of retard downvoted you, so +1 :)

Imo we should stick to ARAM, as ALL RANDOM. Dividing our slim ARAM playerbase might end really bad.

Well, when they made people who wanted an advantage use their own queue in WoW, the ultimate result was that most people stopped seeking that advantage and simply played normally. I would imagine we'd see the same result in ARAM.

If ARAM accounts can only be wielded against other ARAM accounts, the benefit of using them dries up and those players will end up migrating to the standard queue. Some small subset of the playerbase will be interested in using their ARAM accounts against one another, but that's totally fine. That's the point of a queue like that, to let users tailor their experience to their own preferences.

You might also find that the existence of a truly all random experience brings in new or returning players who didn't want to play against a Blitz, Morgana, and Ziggs every game.
