Why do players lose so much more LP when they lose a match than when they win? I feel like its kinda BS to get 14 or 15 one match and lose 25 the next. What is the reason for this?

Lynxonyx1 votesI've often wondered this myself. Sometimes I win and get 25... other times 17. Sometimes I lose and lose 20, other times 15. Doesn't make sense.
One of the times I won and it gave me 17, it left me 1 shy of a promo... man that was annoying. Why not just a set system?
RogueWill1 votesYou MMR is way too low in comparison to your current ranking. That's the reason.
Only 2 ways to fix it, get a wining streak (7wins or so should fix it) or duo with someone of higher level (and thus higher MMR) so when it balances out the relative MMR is higher
