Thunderlords meta has nothing to do with it being OP

But more to do with he fact that it gives the most early game punch, which unfortunately, is a necessity in this meta. The Thunderlords hype train is a symptom, not the problem.

Precision is also still stupidly strong and makes the thunderlord tree go to. Honestly hitting the precision mastery would make people move away from thunderlords.

you also can get the xtra 5percent cdr witch gives you 45 cdr lategame so people like rengar will still pick it up because 35 secs for ult is nice

I feel like penetration makes or breaks the two mastery trees.

for most champs yet but the extra cdr helps for others right now ethier way i think that tree needs a little nerf like trade the pen to the other tree and we might see people use the ferocity tree ofc i did enjoy the ferocity tree when the first 2 things in it were good now they are just meh since they dont work on minions anymore it made jungleing so much easier when you could go in with a brawlers glove on yas and sustain through the entire jungle and be healthy enough to gank

No, it is very strong and has been stronger than the others in the past because it is the Ad meta, and thunderlords is most effective on ad champs and assassins just flat out go overboard with it. It allows assassins compensation for armor pen nerfs due to it being magic damage and building mr against ad assassins is dumb... And rendundent, but they make out because of it. Armor pen was so pruzed because it allowed there damage to get through armor, and magic damage os 100% armor pen .

Precision is still generally > than the 7% pen. Especially for magic dmg. IDK why we didn't slightly buff battering blows/piercing thoughts since tanks are overboard right now anyways. Then give that 1% back to unyielding in resolve; it didn't deserve a nerf next to recovery... kneejerk class lever balancing...

Thunderlords does generally come to pay off a little easier and earlier than the ferocity keystones. In my mind the ferocity keystones need to be outscaling Thunderlords to allow for balance and diversity of choice. They do in ideal scenarios. There are champions out there that do not make effective use of the ferocity keystones tho and just opt for Thunderlords. And with the state of the game, people love snowballing power. Though end game is still pretty key in competitive games.

It's just like Deathfire Grasp; gives damage to those that don't need it, and overloads those that already do.

Thunderlords is specifically for early game. It gets way outscaled by anything in the Ferocity tree and probably other keystones too.

no. it has 10 per level scale. unless you have crazy amount of ap or ad. nothing in the ferocity tree will outscale it. unless your a champion that depends on auto attacks. then you go either frevor or warlords. only few champions should use dft as the optimal option.

anyway we're comparing apples and oranges here. there is no similarity between warlords and frevor and thunderlords. however. thunderlords is comparable to dft. however. the scaling on dft is far greater. but. it doesn't have per level scale. which means its not gonna be of any use until late game champions like veigar or you have something like 400-500 AD. something cray. but even then. its DoT which isn't nearly useful come late game. because u want that burst in a team fight. and thunderlords gives that. most likely if your winning and u have dft late game u already can kill with without waiting for the dft thing to do it. as it will do probably less damage than thunderlords. but have no cooldown however its not a laning phase and you won''t be poking nearly as much late game. burst>poke in late game.
