If I mid, i will do following things:
- Expect me to farm mostly and roam with certain benefits. I am not an assassin and I am just as important as your ADC. Azir is a hypercarry like Vayne or Kai'sa especially late game because I know how to shred ANYONE unwise enough to stand in my soldier's ranks.
- Expect me to roam. A LOT. That means you, bot lane. If I am ulting to go bot lane, please be aware of our surroundings. If I use gate to bottom lane, please follow up. I want the ADC to be fed as well as me as a TF to a certain degree.
- If I am Zed, it is my job to make the enemy ADC the most miserable as I humanly can. If you're the ally ADC, just note that I will always be taking kills because it rewards me AD. If you are the enemy ADC, it's nothing personal.
- Perhaps my most safest pick. Will roam where the enemy is going... or to initiate. Doesn't matter. Ori has the most utility in my mid pool as well as my most safe pick.
- I will only pick this guy if the enemy does not have any ways to negate his damage. If they're insist of getting Zhonya's against a Karthus, so be it. I use his ult to contest objectives later on into the game because hot damn his ultimate is VERY influential if used right.
- I will poke. I will bash. I will kick anyone into the well wherever I go. Roamer.
- atm, my weakest pick. But If he is strong, expect me to roam as much as push lanes. Viktor specializes in wave clearing.
- If I have my ultimate, I will snipe bot lane. Especially if there is a Jhin who uses his ultimate.
So what's my point? Well... Pick a champion that has a good balance between farming, pushing and roaming. Mid has always been roam intensive lately and it is an important concept for many players. If your bottom lane is incompetent enough to not forsee an incoming gank with usage of wards, then it's not really your fault.
So TL;DR: You do you, fuck everyone else who questions your decisions. Okay, just don't take that second statement literally. [sg-miss-fortune]
