Cassiopea Q does not proc thunderlords....

Did anyone else notice this? DOT spells usually proc thunderlords on their own, but it doesn't on Cass Q. It will proc on her W, but not the Q.

You think this is a bug or intentional by riot?

Pretty sure it's intentional. Q counts as a single hit towards Thunderlord's when it lands and it's still very easy for Cass to proc Thunderlord's with her E spam.

I actually don't think DoTs typically proc Thunderlord's. The usual example people give is Morgana W but that's not actually a DoT, it's a multi-hit AoE ability that deals damage every 0.5 seconds, that ability allows for some counterplay where an enemy can avoid the proc if they get out fast enough. I'm pretty sure "real" DoTs don't apply Thunderlord's on each tick because it has no counterplay at all after the ability has landed.

I'm pretty sure e can't be spammed anymore on Cassiopeia. I have no idea about the Thunderlords thing but yeah.

The base cooldown is now 0.75 seconds regardless of if the enemy is poisoned or not. You want to poison targets in order to get bonus damage on it.

It's very mana-inefficient without poison on the target, but 0.75s is still fast enough to proc Thunderlord's. Plus it's affected by cdr now which can bring its cooldown to 0.4125 seconds

Her E goes down with CDR now... so with max CDR you could get it as low as 0.41 if you would want to. Even though it's kinda overkill.

I mean I never see Cass now because wow she was nurfed hard. But that's cool.

Hm. I know like 0 about the mage rework other then that they made me hate playing Anivia cause the ult change is clunky and awkward as shit.

I'm pretty sure DoT spells do not proc them when they are like Cassiopeia's Q, but when they are something like Morgana's W, when it isn't a one hit too do the DoT, it procs thunderlords.
