Has anyone found success with the new Cassiopea on the PBE?

I'm curious, if I'm doing something wrong, because the entire kit feels unreliable unless I stun my target, which does not happen often. I usually have to burn flash or hide in the bush to get a decent stun.

The W does not seem effective because it has a fixed distance and a delayed cast so unless my target willingly ignores it, it rarely ever lands and holds my target down.

If you tested her after yesterdays patch, the E range was nerfed tho it was not mentioned on surrender at 20 (may just be a bug). This adds to the fact that I can't get to my target even if I land my W because the distance between the W and e is now greater.

And the Q does not help much as it is just as hard to land as before but now I have a shorter E to deal with.

It' feels like I'm forced to get item 3116 first, but at the same time, I want CDR and mana to make her E decent. So I'm torn in deciding what the first item should be.

It just feels like her requirements as a champ went up, because even though she can get a sixth item instead of boots, that item cost more gold, and lets face it, how often do you even get six items?

Cassiopeia is a dps mage with no instant re-positioning (only movespeed), and with majority of champions with burst and gap closer, she is going to perform less than expected of her, since the rest of the mages that are getting a buff are burst oriented and have large teamfight potential.

She seems strong, but in comparison to current circumstances, she is weak.

A better way to look at her ultimate is to use it as a counterengage tool. Unless you're absolutely sure you can make a good play by Flash ulting, just use it to peel for the carry and even yourself.
