Now this might just be paranoid conspiracy theories, but I was under the impression you got matched with people around equal to you as you climbed, but if I didn't know any better, I'd say matchmaker is intentionally trying to handicap me.

The more you win recent games the more the system will say "AYYY! This guy is pretty good! So to make the teams evenly matched I will give him some shitters to carry!"
But of course we all know this game doesn't work that way. The game is decided by the worst players not the best. So you lose and throw your water glass at the sliding closet door and it makes a big crack.
