Riot please stop buffing lucian because reddit or whoever keeping crying about him

Lucian metas are NOT fun, and he isnt even exactly weak anymore with the multiple buffs he has been recieving, so stop there (i know the patch isnt out on most regions yet but from the 3 servers its up his WR is already up to 50%).

For ppl that dont remember : when lucian is meta his pickrate becomes 50%+ and bot lane becomes :

Are you going to pick lucian? If no then the other team will have lucian. Did you pick something that survives lucian? If no then you're unplayable.

Bonus points on him being picked top to shit on bruisers or mid.

Remember that he can also snowball a hell of a lot faster than trist/vayne/xayah. So really think of a fed trist/vayne/xayah as a realllly fed lucian.

This was because back in the day when ghostblade gave AS, if he got the item and was even somewhat ahead he would straight up 1v2 your bot lane.

That said, bot lane would be a lot more fun with more champs like Lucian, but without lucian being absolutely dominant.

as a trist/xayah player lucian does not give you a lot of counterplay and will easily bop you in lane which is not fun against

Lucian is Mordekaiser levels of oppressive laning Bullshit when he's strong. There's no way you've played when Lucian was top tier against a competent Lucian if you think he's fun to lane against on any ADC. Even his counter picks are boring lanes because you just range and disengage his aggro, try to outscale, and hope your support does the same and doesn't feed Fun.

i think there is a diference btw buff lucian and put him to godtier, the wish of buff lcuian comes to punish hypercarries, since this kind of champ (lanebully) like lucian use to stop this hypercarries to invade every lane, npow that champs like jhin , mf orlucian are trash tier, no one can competent with those super boosted adc.

Xayah is fun, Tristan arguable can be fun when she’s balanced and not just faceroll crits from 800 range away.

Lucian is infuriating in lane if you have a non-aggressive support that flees every time he presses his low mana E to outtrade you. Which happens a lot in Yolo Queue.

People only want him buffed because he's got actual counterplay and ADC mains don't like that. Here's an actual conversation I recorded, then translated from the ADC language (similar to the grunts and squeaks of bonobo monkeys) to English:

'Me no play Jhin, Lucian, Ashe, or Draven. Me only play right click to death champion. Me like Vayne, Varus, Kogmaw. Riot me no happy with Lucian. Make Lucian no counterplay so I can play him.'

At this point in the conversation, the ADC main proceeded to shit himself, then try to throw it at me. I had to leave the enclosure.

Also, you play Kayn. You have zero right to talk about a lack of counterplay, when you one-shot faster than entire teams do.

False, varus can miss all of his spells or easily hit them at point blank vs melee champions, and he will still braindeadly right click you to death. the guinsoo meta is so ridicilous that if he's protected by a support, he's literally season 6 kog'maw standing in place and right clicking

also you play ahri, more counterplay than kayn but equally oppressive

With these lucian buffs coming in for him, I don't really know how to feel I personally don't see very many lucians but when I do they usually aren't very good since he is somewhat in my own personal opinion hard to play. but at the moment I do understand if they buff some other ad's with caitlyn and ezreal being a force to reckon with and jhin also coming back aswell I can see why they'd like lucian to be able to put up a challenge against these strong attack damage carries. Let's just hope it doesn't lead to lucian being banned every game or lucian being picked every single game because it would be sad to see a champion being banned permantley just because they got some buffs and not because he is way too strong.
