@Riot, Can we get come solo/ duo Reset specifics?

As one of the many players who boycotted ranked in season 7 because of dynamic que. i am greatly looking forward to being able to play ranked in season 7. (ok yes, i did play some ranked in order climb back out of bronze to silver 5 because i wanted to keep my silver border,(because the reset from season 6 demoted me to bronze like it does every season), but then i stopped)

now i know that this season solo/duo reset will be different because it came from season after dynamic boost.

and i have seen people post something saying that they got some sort of in-game message saying they will start their solo/duo climb from "X" rank in season 7"

now since i don't play ranked i assume that is why i didn't get one of those messages.

but i was wondering if you can share any specifics how the reset this season will be different from the resets we had the other seasons. i am fairly certain where or not we have the "boosted" emblem has something to with how our reset works.

but i would really like some more data on the subject.

because this will be the season when i finally attempt to reach gold. (i was planning on doing it season 6, but with dynamic que boycotted ranked instead) and it would REALLY suck to put in all that work and then just be stuck with bronze players who got boosted to gold+ from season 6 and just stayed there.

There was no reason to not hit gold this season. Dynamic queue caused just as many unfair wins as losses. Sounds like you couldn't climb so you blamed dynamic queue

first off.. i can choose what i want to do. i can guarantee you i am not going to give a damn about ANYONE's boarder or last season rank. i have never been gold, i didn't want to FIRST season i was to be gold also be the season anyone could be boosted there. I didn't want the memory of that accomplishment marred by dynamic que. i wanted to do it during a season where ranked meant something.

i did choose to rank up back to silver 5 so i could keep my border. but then i pretty much stopped. i also choose not to play ranked after that to show riot i didn't agree with their "dynamic boost". meanwhile i was able to play unranked i learned some new champs , morg, ori, and syndra , and i had to relearn nidalee 8 times through out the season. i also created my first alt account, it began as a test to see how bad the 1-30 process was for new players.( its REALLY BAD). once i reach level 30 i played unranked on that account for a while so i could buy enough champs to play ranked on it

where you want to believe me is your choice, but you sound like a real jerk when you go out and randomly accuse people of lying.

idk why you find it so hard to believe that people should choose NOT to play ranked this season...

You still played 140 ranked games. That's more than enough to get to gold. I was just saying based off your match history it looked like you couldn't do it. I was honestly trying to encourage you to not quit if u really wanted gold.

i also started this season after an 8 month break... finally gave up on nidalee laning, (which is why i had quit midway through season 5 as i refused to bring her into the jungle) and finally decided to learn her in the jungle. i did play a few games before going into ranked.. but needless to say.. i wasn't up to my usual standards or anywhere remotely near them.. it took me a while to get back up to par. and sadly with nidalee being my main... 7 of first losses were on her XD.

regardless i wasn't playing at a "gold" level until at LEAST July. at which time i have already decided to stop playing ranked, which certainly was plenty of time to REACH gold if i wanted to put the time in.

i not going to remotely pretend i played at a gold level at the start of the season... i probably played at mid bronze for the first few weeks after i came back XD. would have been pretty funny to watch me XD. i literally spend 90% of the game talking out-loud to me self going. WHY AM I SOO BAD!!! HOW ON EARTH DID I MISS THAT?? THEY WEREN'T EVEN MOVING!!!

and "FUCKING SCUTTLE JUKES!!!"
