And it all started going to shit when devourer was released. And 5.16 makes that patch look so much better.

Seriously. The cinderhulk meta was far from perfect, but it was a lot more enjoyable than this. At least it didn't ever feel like I needed 10 bans in champ select unlike nowadays because there are so many broken soloqueue picks these days that it's impossible to find an enjoyable game.

Seems to me like this game is just a feast or famine fest were the majority of the picks either snowballs to hell or becomes worthless.

Nothing was fun about the Cinderhulk meta. Nothing is fun about this meta.

The meta hasn't been fun since Riot fucked up the jg in patch 5.1.

Because jungling should be a worthless role whose sole purpose is to clean everybody's ass, right?

Jungle has never been worthless, even in season 2 when junglers barely made more gold than supports and went full support items they were still crazy important.

The way it is now, Jungle not only has a huge amount of control over how every lane does but it also scales better than any other position without being forced to fight other players. If I fall behind in the jungle I can't just avoid people and catch back up. A jungler can do this. And once a sated junglers team is winning its very easy for him to just free farm and even if his team loses some advantages the other jungler comes out so strong that there is nothing you can really do.
