Not taking flash in this meta is borderline inting.

It's way to much of a coin flip, I almost feel like it should be reportable but than if that was the case, Riot would have to make Flash a permanent spell. But to many times have I played with a Yuumi, Ezreal, or Jax who don't take flash. It's too nerve racking for players because they have to constantly put up a defense wall for these other players simply because they have no escape once their kit is out.

Needless to say, less mobility in this game needs to happen. Not every champ needs a movement ability. [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Yuumi doesn't really need Flash since she spends 90% of the time being attached to someone. Others like Shaco & sometimes Hecarim didn't really need Flash too.

you speak like flash has not been a mandatory summoner since it's inception. Also Yuumi not taking flash is completely irrelevant since she should never be caught when not attached to someone and if the person who she is attached to dies and nobody is near then she will die in most cases regardless of whether she has flash or not

Yeah. Yuumi should never have flash. She doesn't need it.

Hold on a second... You say that not taking flash should be a reportable offense.....yet you think that this game needs less mobility? If the game needs less mobility why do you want flash, the mobility summoner spell, to be mandatory?

You don't need the crutch spell if you just positioned properly. I have a 66% winrate with mordekaiser and climbed from silver to almost gold1 in a month and I haven't taken flash on him once. Is that inting?

I see flash as a get-out-of-jail free card when you misposition and get caught out, or if you're trying to make a quick burst damage play. Since I position well, I prefer ghost on my mains because I put more value in sustained aggression over burst.

Is that so unbelievable?

I did not state flash should be mandatory, my post is about how mobility in this game makes flash basically mandatory to take if everyone simply chooses to take champs who have 2-3 dashes.

Yuumi is probably not supposed to take Flash.

Actually, players have ranked up to Diamond and never Flashed once, even relatively recently. (Not even taken Ghost.) (And I mean, did it on GAREN!)

Shyvana also frequently plays without Flash, and this is probably recommended below Diamond.

Riot balances the game around Flash, but it probably doesn't become mandatory until high MMR. (And even then, not for Yuumi, for example.)

As a top main, most Darius I play against take ghost/flash for maximum engage. The logic is that a couple more auto attacks that ghost might get you + the extra bleed will be more damage than just ignite. I think it's the most effective summoner spell combo, but a lot of Darius still take summoner 4 summoner 14 because it's all they know. I hardly ever see any Darius take summoner 12 but then again, I'm only high gold so top laners might not have the macro skill to teleport effectively.
