So I've seen towers legitimately ignore divers
I don't know if you guys have seen this yourself, but sometimes, rarely, the turret simply won't target the champion diving you and instead aims for minions.
This is early game mind you.

swiftsnipe1 votesif you are not in range of the tower when the enemy dives it wont hit the enemy.
so the enemy can be under you tower and hitting you. but the turret wont attack them because you aren't under the tower with them.
