Can we seriously nerf cc chaining already?

I know everybody is still on the whole "burst is op, damage hurt ow" bandwagon, but hear me out.

Anyone lands so much as a single slow and you will end up getting buttfucked by at least 3-4 different cc abilities. There are no dimishing returns or reasons to attempt to chain them well. You can keep one champion or maybe even two entirely out of every fight and if that's not "no counterplay" I don't know what is. You only need to land one goddamn cc to instantly prevent that champion from retaliating because he'll be bombarded by all the other cc on the team. Almost all champions have some form of cc. Most have access to easily accessed hard cc with the click of a button. And I really don't think that being nuked down with cc is any more fun than being bursted.

It's not, but it means that all that CC is being wasted on you. In a teamfight that's not as bad as you'd think in some situations.

If you're a tank, yeah. Anyone else and it fucking sucks.

Oh it sucks for the tank also. No one likes being chain CC'd. This is just the positive of it.

Anyone else shouldn't be far enough forward to get CC chained by 4-5 people. You should be punished for being in range of the entire enemy team.

You don't need to be far enough forward. Go to river to ward, get hit by a single cc, that'll buy enough time for at least one more champion to get there to land one more cc on you.

It's most ridiculous when it's something like a point click cc ability chained into stuff like Morgana Q, so you have no chance of "dodging" or "counterplay" to "skillshots."

If you're doing that when enemies are MIA and could be around, You're definitely too far forward.

then why do slows no longer stack?

Probably because it was possible to basically root people with item slows combined with champion kits. Slows tend to be more common amongst cc.

That's my theory anyway.

Because they were attacking the effectiveness of the slow rather than duration. Other cc just gets its duration refreshed when hit by another of the same type, slows were the only case where a cc could become more effective when different slows were allowed at the same time.

One way to go about is to have CC be less effective as it stacks. Paladins does this where every time someone is hit with CC that CC and others is less effective on a person to prevent massive stun locks.

I really do think that would be good.

But as you can see, the boards is an anti damage pro tank/mage/cc circlejerk. If you so much as hint at being permacc'ed by 2 champions as being ridiculous they will give you a -8 (at time of this comment) because of it.
