General Question about LP loss

As a hypothetical, and with the knowledge that LP adjustments are made on MMR, is there any difference between someone who gets an S, and someone who just farms jungle all game when your team is defeated?

In other words, performance isn't factored in, correct?

I'm fairly certain that performance doesn't affect the amount of LP you gain or lose.
