Unpopular opinion: Tanks should not be buffed like crazy cause they're not fun to play against

Tanks have loads of CC, are still really hard to kill even in this damage meta and take less mechanical skill than any other class in the game. Why should they be buffed when they're already good/viable?

Additionally we still have some tanks being issues, namely Leona, Singed, Galio and Alistar. The current PBE buffs I'm somewhat ok with however because they're for tank champions that need a lil bit of loving to be effective. However I'm against buffing tanks who are already well off. I'm also against Riot adding any more CC into this game. There needs to actually be less CC in this game now, since it feels like every champ is getting a CC ability. Hell, even Akali has 2 forms of CC now. Damage creep? That's got nothing on CC creep.

Whenever tanks are meta they are NOT fun to play against for anyone, and they're not very fun to play as either. Everyone is saying they want the tank meta back and yet if that really does happen people will whine even more than they are in this "damage meta".

I downvoted because the "unpopular opinion" crap is overused, and has no real meaning. It's not needed, and just adds click bait to what could be a respectable thread.

they're super fun to play against as ADC.

Because you have real tanks like Amumu Ornn Maokai and the 2k17 spring meta of tanks that was bullshit like Fizz or Ekko

i read this post and it's mostly complaining about cc and i go on op.gg and your champ is kat a champ that relies on a channel ability to be good ._.

Then you have no idea how she works, cause her ult is by far her worst ability. I love CC and hate it as Kat so it's not like it bothers me too much when it's viable, it's just when almost everyone has a form of it. Also I don't see the point in ad hominem attacks here.... [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Dude. Riot basically went EMP. They buffed tanks RESISTANCES. And cut all damage runes by a great amount, I don’t think you of understand they just returned about 10 lost champions into the game or even more. Such as battle mages and marksmen. And now assasins can’t roam wild ether.

It's because there is NO TANKS in this game.When someone says tank i imagen hard to kill, cc spam machine.LoL defenition of tank - hard to kill, cc machine, WHO CAN OUTTRADE YOU IN DAMAGE.Like what the actuall fk.Im fine with tanks being hard to kill or stun you forever, but WHY they have so much damage.Those champions tend to have less mechanics,cheaper itemazation,very hard to fall off the game,natural in kit defensive buffs, crowd control, and RIOT give them insane damage.Its very fked up when you fight full tank Garen, Tahm Kench, Warwick, Ornn, Zac etc. and they can outdamage you when you are full damage build.For me the best tank in this game is Leona.She initiate, cc you into oblivion, but if she is alone, she is fked.All other "tanks" in this game are, atleast in my opinion, jugernats.

Play a lane where the tanks won't be played the most. Problem solved. Tanks need somewhere to go because right now They suck everywhere is solo queue.
