If you flash dash and rush 1200 units away from I can't cover it quickly.
You know who CAN cover 1200 units or more pretty much instantly? Enemy 
or other assassin.
Just stop. Position yourself just a bit away, so other enemies don't get to you too easily, and let me CC him and/or shield you.
You really have best chances if you do. There's no point running backwards.

and completely missed the enemy kog'maw because I was standing too far away (like I was 800 units away from kog when I charged).
but the thing is, is that the taric next to kog popped his ult in reaction to me walking to flank them. So I turn around to leave. because they are invuln (i'm not in any risk and I safely baited the ult out with my low CD Q)
But that's when my friendly jayce thinks "I should go in now". and then he dies and does zero freaking damage because they are under the effects of taric ult.
