You can fight her, dude.

Literally, hitting her makes it disappear faster and means she can do less damage to it.

Except you can't fight if you're running, say if you get ganked or caught out... ever. Not to mention the tentacles that follow you literally past your nexus for a good two minutes.

If you're running, keep running. She has basically fuck-all for CC and chase potential.

Yes, you'll eat the slow, but you can kill tentacles that pop up with two autos, and after three of them you're home free.

...Also, you can totally recall in the time between tentacle spawns.

Yes, I do know that, but obviously you're going to rush to conclusions and insult others without even listening first yourself. There have been hundreds of times I've survived being caught out, as well as times I've escaped with less than 100 health. The tentacles can kill you pretty easily if you're low health, before most champions can even get two auto attacks off. Maybe you should actually think a bit before insulting others.

The tentacles also take about 8 seconds between attacks and take a second to hit, during which a clearly marked box appears.

Maybe you should think a bit before you make claims regarding balance.

Then again, you seem to think it's impossible to kill tentacles without being hit. So...

PS there's also hundreds of times you didn't survive being caught out, usually because of an enemy's ability. Such as a skillshot that punishes you for being in a situation where you can't fight.

Would be a bit better if you knew what you're talking about though. This is the first day, "hundreds of times" doesn't quite cut it. If you actually did your research on Illaoi before you complain about her, you'd know how to counter her. And even if she is a bit overpowered now because of her E, it's still the first day of her official release to everyone. Play a few "hundred" more times.

No, you don't have to be out of position. She can hit you with it whenever she wants. And no, you can't just remove the debuff. You have to wait for three tentacles to pop up and take what's left of your hp after she takes essentially all of it killing the ghost. And no, fighting her during the e is never an option because she will always outdamage you. But hey, make assumptions about people so you can call legitimate complaints "crying" and "QQ." Assholes like you are what's wrong with the League community; no complaints are ever valid, there is only QQ, which must be mocked.

If you force her to choose between hitting you and hitting the E, you can either outtrade her or at least have a less unfavorable trade than if you let her freely wail on the spirit. It's still usually a better decision unless you're just straight-up behind.

tekkaras, you are being a bit unreasonable. If she catches you with her E you can either fight her (don't do it if she has her ult, though) or run out of the skill range fast, so that you will become a vessel but she won't have much time to hit your soul and damage you. After you managed to ran, you can either wait for 3 tentacles to appear and destroy them to remove the buff: if you don't have any other enemy to deal with, it's pretty easy to dodge their strikes when they appear. If you don't want to wait for those 3 tentacles, you can recall without being interrupted by tentacles by standing in a position far enough from walls: i saw a lot of people doing it, so i'm sure it can be done. Also, "80% of your max HP" is a bit exagerated, you know that, right?

I do agree that a relevant part of the community would rather mock someone than trying to be helpful, though

if you get caught out thats pretty much a fault of ur own, not a fault of the champ. there are plenty of champions that fuck u over harder if u get caught out by them. Riven

But in that case, her hitting the spirit guarantees that you'll get away with your life. I'd rather have a real CC that could keep someone there so I could kill them.

Also, the tentacles last 60 seconds, or until you kill 3 of them.

Hit her while she's using it. She'll ignore you and be dealing less damage to you because she's hitting the mimic. If you hit her she likely won't have enough time to detonate it.
