Anyone know when TF is going to get a re-work?

At the moment I feel he doesn't fit this meta, or the last meta at all. High crippling mana costs early AND mid game. No mobility aside from a very high CD ult. Decent damage, but also a difficult champ to play right in the middle of team fights and large ganks, as he has to cycle through cards to properly stun, do damage, and also regain some type of mana regen.

Although his ult is good, it feels extremely clunky. I always hated the blue area where it shows where you can teleport too, it looks like the screen is zoomed in about 100%. It washes out other characters and minions on the screen, making a better door than a window.

Against champs like Yasuo, he can Wind Wall you're ENTIRE kit. Good luck winning that match up. Azir's soldiers cannot be killed, as he now out ranges TF, and also seriously out sustains him mana wise. I could go on about horrible match ups, but you get the idea.

In all he is an old school hybrid character when Riot really didn't know what they were doing (much like Ryze). I feel he needs a whole rework.

Riot stopped caring about Twisted Fate ages ago. Don't even bother asking. He's one of the few mid laners in the game that actually NEED, I repeat, NEED some help. Everything his kit does is great but it has 0 connection to each other

Is he a long range poke mage? His Q would imply that but his AA range doesn't. Is he a dps mage? His E would apply that but none of his other skills do Is he an assasin-type mage? His R would apply that but nothing else does

He's just so outclassed and as you said "clunky" now a days. Buut alas rito dont give a fak about him

I've played TF a lot over the years and I find that he's now only viable in the jungle. He's a lot of fun to play in the jungle, with great strengths and weaknesses, but it is sad to see how weak he is in the lane. That said, he has SO MUCH POWER in his Ult and and gold card stun (high duration, low cooldown, targeted), that it's hard to give him more power/utility. I've had games with TF where I'm frankly not doing very well and then, suddenly, I see one out of place carry, ult in and, in 2 seconds, kill them without retaliation, and the game ends 40 seconds later. It's hard to balance around that!

Twisted Fate was picked many times at the pro level last year, and was picked in the Intel Extreme Masters a month ago. His W means he shouldn't have mana issues. His lack of mobility isn't unique in the mid mage crowd, and is why many people suggest taking Ghost and Flash with him. Yes, Yasuo can block everything, but Twisted Fate isn't the only champion hard countered that way. When you want to go in for the kill on Azir use Ghost, then Flash over his ult if you need do. Distortion boots are your friends.

Anything I'm missing?

he is actually one of the most mobile mages in the game. He shouldent have mana problems thanks to his w. Hes got good poke, good wave clear, a stun, a vision ultimate and a teleport... hes in a great spot

The thing about TF is that he has a strong kit. And he pops up without warning regardless of meta. I doubt that they will rework him any time soon.
