Hint: Look at his kit and build. Advice: Play him in normals to figure ot his strenghts and weaknesses.

If you wreck with him you figure out why he is strong. You get wrecked with him and you figure out what they did to succeed.

Have you actually seen what an ADC with item 3153 and item 3036 does to a tank? Poor guys have to take therapy session afterwards, they just get melted...

Well Nautilus does a LOT of damage by standing on top of people. He has TONS of aoe damage from item 3068 and item 3025.

And if he's fed, he can pick up an item 3001 or item 3151 and ride his own fat wave.

A lot of different factors in LoL allow just about everyone to pull that off under the right circumstances.

With a big enough gold or XP lead, any champion in LoL can be a true terror. Snowballs are real, and being underleveled and underfarmed is also a real possibility. With items and XP: there are also some pretty substantial power-spikes that can allow a huge split in power. Major items are much more cost-effective than component items, giving a large power-spike if you fight when major items are completed. With levels: getting to levels 6, 11, and 16 can afford a substantial edge vs. opponents 1 level under you due to the huge chunk of power you get with each ult rank.

Beyond that: no 2 champions really have the same power-spikes and power-sinks in LoL. Some champions are amazing early game champions but weak late-game champions, some champions are strong late-game but weak early, some champions are fairly mediocre throughout a game.

Due to general kit mechanics: each champion gets a different level of power from items, runes, and masteries on top of that.

And LoL is a game that heavily values skill. A Bronze V player is going to seriously struggle with intermediate bots, where a Silver V player can reliably spam "legendary" in a Co-Op game, and a Gold player can reliably beat the stuffing out of a Silver player.

Pick a reason, any reason.

A major fantasy LoL delivers on is that you can 1v4 with anyone if you do it right.

Lots of champs can do this when played right. Illaoi can 1v5, probably 1v6 if circumstances permitted. When there is more than one enemy around you if you land your e and your ult then they die. The more people you're against the better it works, especially if you have enough tentacles set up around you
