@Stashu; An idea for Cassiopeia's ultimate
Let's face it. Cassiopeia'S ultimate is bad. 0.5 scaling. Low range. Unreliable. For comparison: Tibbers has longer range, a secure stun, 0.8 initial scaling and 0.2 further damage per second around it.
I think Cassiopeia's ultimate is outclassed and unfun in her current state. Furthermore it makes balancing her kit difficult since regardless of insecure and bad the ability is: a 2s stun remains a 2ns stun:
Suggestion (New ultimate):
Snake's Curse: No mana Cooldown: 100 / 80 / 60 Passive: Increased the maximum duration a target can be poisoned to 3.5 / 4. 4.5s Active: For the duration of "Snake's Curse" all of her base cooldowns are set to 0. Instead Cassiopeia's abilities gain a global cooldown of 0.5s between casts. This ability lasts 3.5 / 4.5 / 5.5 seconds. While this ability is active Cassiopei's mana costs are reduced by 20 / 30 / 40 %.
Explanation: The passive allows you to stack Qs on the same target. Currently landing a 2nd Q before the first one runs out results ina significan't DPS loss since the DoT refreshes instead of being prolonged. The passive of this ultimate allows poisons to stack slightly longer as Cassiopeia levels up.
The active grants Cassiopeia the unique ability of also using an E->Q combo with the new amplification without setting E on full cooldown. It fixes Cassiopeia's problem of not being able to target swap during it's duration and allows the user to create a large terrain or spreading Miasma clouds to set up E's after "Snake's Curse" ends.
In my eyes this ultimate promotes her spammy playstyle but refrains from focussing on E alone - it allows her to shape the battlefield to a deadly terrain for enemies and re-introduces the ability of zonign enemies (be it just for the duration of her ultimate).
At the same time her potential of 100-0'ing a stunned (by her) opponents gets removed which should make balancing her more easily.
** I AM WELL AWARE THAT THIS SUGGESTION RESULTS IN THE LOSS OF HER MEDUSA-ISH / SEDUCTIVE FORMER LORE.** It however fits her new identity really well from my point of view.
