Really upset at the Xerath nerf.

The reworked stun was his best tool for spacing and dealing with oppressive initiates and you just cut the stun duration by a significant amount. Furthermore, you've nerfed the one ability that kept Xerath viable in multiples roles, both as an AP mid-laner and a support poker.

As a guy that mained support Xerath since his rework, and rose to high gold/low plat playing almost exclusively support Xerath - this is extremely disappointing to see. If you want to nerf something of his, lower his damage a bit, but that stun was the only thing keeping him relevant in the sea of mobile assassins that you see every single game. Peeling will be difficult now.

Strategic diversity? Bull.

I feel ya there! :( Though i feel Veigs is a completely different champion than Xerath in his role and playstyle, yea - there are other champions I'd rather see nerfed.

He had a counter to mobile champions. Riot is slowly phasing out stuns and moving everything to knock ups.

See now Xerath can't stun Azir

And Azir can't hit Xerath when they're standing beside eachother.

A slow-moving skillshot stun is OP as fuck? I humbly disagree with you.

when it lasts that long, and you are getting hit by it at close range, only to run away to get ulted.... yes

It's duration is directly linked to the distance at which you are hit by it.

If you are adjacent to Xerath, the stun is very, very short. If you get hit by the 'tip' of the skill shot, the stun lasts for a long time. It's very easy to dodge the skillshot at its full distance with any champion in the game. Annie's passive stun is significantly better in almost all respects. period.

On the subject of his ultimate, that is also pretty easy to juke, But its a different story if your being run down. It's a positional tool to force people to change directions or take some damage.

And last I checked.... more than half the player population of the game is bronze. it's op as fuck, in the realm where dodging skill shots requires a dash.
