why thresh get compensated when he hit minions with his q

IIRC, it originally had a shorter cooldown.

They increased the base cooldown and decreased it by a flat amount when the hook successfully lands.

This pushes missed hooks while successful hooks have the previous cooldown.

what.....? compensated how? His Q has a long wind-up time before the hook flies out and a thin hitbox compared to blitzcrank's hook. Thresh is picked over blitzcrank because of the insane amount of utility his kit provides which makes him a more attractive pick over blitzcrank.

Although this does just look like a rage post, I agree. To me, it looks like the purpose of the nerf was to punish Thresh for missing his hooks. it just doesn't seem logical to me to let him be able to hit a minion and not be punished for it. Only reason I see it applying to minions is for him to be able to perform escapes by dashing to minions.

Although I see no reason that this has to do with Blitzcrank. They're still different champions with different purposes. Nobody would pick Thresh over Blitzcrank solely because of this one minor detail.
