What's the point of playing a game where it's autofill vs. main ?

I really don't get it. What the fuck is the point of playing a game you lost in champ select ? Don't tell me I didn't lose a game when my only jungle player gets autofiled top and picks fiora with whom he has a 40% win rate with 25 games vs. a yasuo main with over 400 games on him. Tell me how the fuck that game won't be onesided. Or when a shaco one trick gets autofilled bot and I'm stuck supporting a player who doesn't know what's going on. I'm trying to get to diamond 1 and this shit is just retarded. I don't know what to do anymore. I took a week break and first game I come back to, I get autofilled top and he feeds and the end screen shows -18 when there's literally nothing you can do in a 4v5 with a fed yasuo. I'm just fucking enraged.

EDIT: 2nd game after a week break, dude ints because my jungler gave first blood, 8 mins open mid. FUN TIMES HIGH ELO BOYS HAAHAHAHA

You know before role selection this happened before, as a matter of fact it happened twice as much.

Which is why the recommendation was to at least know a minimum of three roles and have at least a few champions you can play in those roles, and if you didn't you weren't ready for ranked and no one caused those bad games except you.

I said it was recommended to know three roles because if one gets taken you'll still be likely to get the others, but even in the old champion select no roles were guarantee, everyone is acting like the new role selection doesn't guarantee the role you select, you still get the role you want pretty frequently in the old system you could've went nearly 4+ games without getting the role you wanted.

I'll agree with knowing the basics won't get you far enough but ranked has worked for five straight season when people were assigned roles they didn't want or didn't know how to play.

hurr durr you should know how to play every role hurr durr. Not like in diamond ++ you cannot play all 5 roles with the same knowledge.

Everyone bitching about this. Learn to support. Queue as main+supp when you see that little "Autofill activated" icon pop up. Guaranteed next three games main roles.
