Why people insist in play Shyvana jungle?

Her ganks are SHIT - Even TF jungle can gank better. Doesn't matter if she has fast clear, because jungle camps have 1 minute of respawn , so clearing your jungle leads you do what? to go back to base. The brings absolute nothing to a gank except damage, that is garbage too. Her tankiness is shitty if you focus devourer, your damage is bad if you go juggernaut, and not even going to talk about warrior or magus. Even with the slow smite, she still does absolute nothing. At jungle, udyr does everything she does, but better.

Fast clears, can counter jungle well, strong duelist, naturally tanky. Ultimate good for bunching up the enemy team for wombo combos. Does lots of damage for going near full tank. You don't always have to kill the enemy when you go for a gank. Just getting them to run away or send them back to base is good enough for your laners.

Strong duelist? If you use any dash you are safe against her. Wombo combos need a specific team comp, which aren't always the case.

Udyr does nothing for wombo combos settings. He is just some lone champ who goes "ok guys, u go 4v5, ill just help by going to annoy the enemy one by one trolololz", and a jerk who always afks in every teamfight because "muh stacks". At least Shyv knows how to knocks-off a large portion of enemy team with her ult, while having a lot of natural defence from her passive.

How many top tier junglers are actually good pre-6 for ganking? Not many - and even the viable ones it's feast or famine. Shyv's late game tanking is awesome, her counter jungling and clears are awesome.

Udyr has great team fight initiation? Teach me DropFill Senpai how you initiate as Udyr, clustering their entire team in an AOE drag.

because fuck you is why Kappa She's a good dragon controlling/invading jungler. She plays alot like trundle. except less sustain and more AOE in a teamfight. trundle just ults a tank then hopes his team kills the enemy team before he dies. shyvana can use her ult in or out of a fight so shes more verastile imo.

I like both. but thats just me.

What exactly do people mean by Shyvana being good at counterjungling? Do you mean just clearing camps in the absence of the opponent jungler? Does it include dueling the other jungler? I am not entirely sure about the meaning behind the term I guess.

I look at counter jungling as just taking as much from the enemy jungle as possible. of course, you always leave that 1 tiny monster in each camp so they don't respawn for the enemy jungler to take later.

i think it's a combination of the two. i use it to describe a champ that can live in the enemy jungle.

The fact that Shyv is such a fast champ in general is that she can clear her own camps relatively quickly and go into the enemy's jungle and kill the camps fast and get out. If need be she can fight in the jungle and kill the enemy jungler/base them while she can escape with little difficulty. She can go over walls with her ult as an escape and very few champs can catch her when she fires up burnout.
