TBH I'm still convinced that it's just itemization that's really broken for AD assassins.

Possibly, but the thing is, he's much stronger pre-6 than he was before thanks to damage buffs on base Q, this is before picking up any assassin items. Then you evolve Q and get a 60% CD refund on isolated targets, so you can just spam Q at about 1.5 second cooldown when isolated. Still haven't got any assassin items yet, besides maybe the new jungle item item 3252 that upgrades to item 3134

And then you pick up item 3147 , the item's new passive has so much synergy with Kha's Unseen Threat (which scales with AD now) and his ult. Now you could argue that you are right, itemization is broken because of Duskblade, but Kha is one of the only champions that has perfect synergy with this, because unlike other champions than might benefit from it every now and then, like when Akali dives in her stealth zone or Vayne uses her ult and Q's, Kha can abuse it over and over again throughout a fight with his ultimate and passive.

Then you evolve R, which grants you a free Kha ult EVERYTIME you go into a bush out of combat, EVEN WHEN THE ULT IS ON COOLDOWN, and the enemy team will start fearing bushes like they do when Khazix 's old buddy Rengar is out there.

All I am trying to say is I play a decent amount of Kha jungle, and he takes almost no effort now to get fed and start snowballing. Pre-update he was still strong, but I had to work for it a little.

It's not just Duskblade too - Lethality in general is just so good. People say it was overall a nerf, but that only applies to Youmuu's - every other item has more lethality than it had armor pen before, so armor pen numbers are even higher now.

In the meantime, their main squishy targets (marksman) still have no choices of easy armor+damage to build against them, like they do against AP assassins. Mages have Zhonya's still, but AD assassins have a full set of anti-mage items that allow them to just tank mage damage while killing them.

Lethality is a early game nerf, you have to be level 9 and up before you break even on the armor pen you are getting versus what the lethality number actually says. Lethality 10 you don't actually get 10 armor pen until level 9 or so. 15 lethality is level 15 or 16 before it breaks even. I could be a little off but I believe that's close to how it works

Basically its nerfed early game, buffed late game.

Lethality 15 means you have 15 armor pen at level 18.

But the only item that has lethality equal to its old armor pen is Youmuu's. It's otherwise higher values across the board, and by the time you've built more than one of them you're past the point where it's outscaled old armorpen.

It's a nerf to Youmuu's and a buff to everything else, including runes.

If Lee is going to the full AD route he could. But for that he'd be just as squishy as any other assassin, so the trade-offs are there.

IF you can jungle Talon yes. If you lane Talon, then no.

Is jungling is fun, and I think it can be viable but I wouldn't pick him over Kha or Rengar EVER.

In lane, it is pretty easy to beat him unless you are playing another AD assassin.

Still haven't seen a Talon who lost his mid, no matter how bad he is... Neither have I lost as Kata support... makes me think the rework makes me more of a support than mid laner now... even the jungle is easier than mid lane atm thanks to the new golems which I love so much.

I've played him mid twice, he seems to have an awful matchup against both Cass and Ryze. Other Talons that I've seen have lost to other assassins mid. I just seems like he really only does well with a bunch of items, or when he hops over a wall to surprise his target.

Cassiopeia and ryze... Haven't you heard that a proper player in my sister, not good or pro... Proper I'd enough to destroy literally anyone in the game, not mid... The whole game. Same goes for ryze... And I personally haven't seen a talon with less that 20 murders... Even if he goes full suicide mode for 1 or 2 kills later...

Talon is hard in lane. Its not just getting the three ability hits off its that auto attack to us passive.

It costs too much in part because his base attack speed is soooooo bad.

I should try a AS/AD Talon....

Kat is ez to lane vs now. Once laning is over then she does do well in team fights but laning is ez vs her.

You can see WHERE she will get her burst so just move away from that spot. OR better yet, trap that spot with your bursty things and get a better trade on her.

Annie and Veigar are terrible assassins, and Syndra isn't great either. They have zero mobility to get to an ADC. At least Syndra just has ridiculous range.
