Who thought talon should be able to jump over walls so quickly?

I get that he should be the designated roaming assassin. I understand that's his niche, but he's now slipperier than liquid hydrogen. It's incredibly infuriating to watch him kill an ally, jump a wall, then jump another wall, and be gone in seconds. There should at least be an "out of combat" type thing on him so that he can't wall hop until he has been out of combat for 5 seconds. none of this "haha you couldn't burst me down in your 1 second stun so i just hopped 2 walls and i'm in the next county" bs.

Or u can just sit in the middle of a lane and late game team fights it's just -1 skill he has since it doesn't offer anything other than a wall jump

Completely agree. Definitely not quite 5 seconds, but maybe a 2 second delay or something makes a lot of sense.

lol It's such a troll kit.

It's not like he jumps over thin corners. he fucking jumps the thickest walls on the map like nothing. He might as well have unlimited flashes on a short cooldown.

It's still a 2s CD by itself, and has a massively long CD per 'map segment', each map segment being fairly large. Even with 30% CD (which is probably what'd be average with a lot of CD built), it's still 1.4 seconds.

It's also his only meaningful mobility for actually getting around without requiring a target, and it's also his only escape. The jump itself is also fairly slow.

Why not just ward around the map to prevent the surprise kill in the first place and then just CC him/kill him before he can find another map segment to jump over while waiting for the E CD to end?

I played a game with a decent thresh and that was the first time I actually felt my E was useless. Maybe I just played like a baboon, or he was just really good/lucky, but goddamn every time I tried to E he flayed or hooked me right back in.

Also I feel like high elo players will be able to juke talon pretty hard by making him commit to a wall hop and running the other way.

Agreed, its pretty obvious that the qq is coming from lower elo players who can't react as quickly or don't understand their own champions power as well.

talon gets fucked up by champions with pulls and displacements though

the wall goes on CD even if he gets interrupted and you can catch him pretty reliably with Darius Blitzcrank

i do agree that this seems like too niche of a skill for me to have put in the game myself, though

I do this with full shame, but as I'm biased toward Talon I think his E is pretty ok right now. People just aren't used to it for sure. I actually think he could use a teeny tiny bit more power in his kit, wherever it might be.

A 5s out of combat restriction is pretty huge and would definitely gut him. Don't underestimate that 5s. I'm open to listening to any other suggestions you might have though
