@Riot considering the potential diver update for preseason, What about Diana?
First question should obviously be whether or not she'll be in it or not
but other than that, what direction do you plan to take her? some kind of diver/skirmisher hybrid with damage consistent enough to, if her burst fails than she can quickly make work of her opponent, and not have such a hard time with tanks. But also good enough burst, that she can put a carry low and use her constant damage to finish them off.
or completely flip her into an assassin/diver focusing less on her passive and more on "bye, bye ADC"
As it stands Diana in some ways serves both. She can delete a target very fast but then right before that pesky Syndra dies she presses R and you die anyways but her damage over a period of time isn't that bad either due to her passive in combination with
. Let's not forget she's also a pretty good tower killer, since her passive does damage towers.
But she does suffer some problems like -she stat-checks -Although you could apply this to almost any assassin, she snowballs, very hard if she does miraculously even manage to get a lead -No escapes once she gets in(although, you could argue she'd want to stay in a fight) -She builds damage>gets evaporated after bursting someone down. builds tank>no damage. builds both > not enough damage, whilst still dying too fast(considering her passives existence and lack of escapes, this build would seem most optimal on paper but not so much in practice.
What're ur thoughts on Diana?
