summoner 3 item 3107 item 3190 are all broken as fuck and negate his whole "easy to be dived on" weakness.

So nerf those, but hey thats never going to happen because anything related to supports cant possibly ever be broken xd

Redemption takes too long to be relevant in any successful dive. By the time the support registers the dive, and casts it, Twitch should be dead.

Locket though is correct, in my opinion. I like that they transitioned it from a utility shield for a team fight to a shock-absorption utility shield, blocking high up front burst but shield decays hard. However, for ADCs, that initial burst survival can often be enough for peel or for high lifesteal to kick in.

Exhaust is exhaust. Always has been. Always has to be. Any weaker and it won't really do its intended purpose. Any better and well, 5-exhaust meta.

You exhaust and throw redemption on the adc, exhaust lasts for 2.5s so the assassin has literally 0 chance to kill your adc because you pressed 2 point and click spells.

Exhaust needs massive nerfs its way too good, its actually even more powerful than flash right now while having almost half of its CD.

In a perfect scenario, yes. If the assassin dive bombed your team onto your ADC, exhaust and redemption will save him. As they're meant to, imagine a world where an assassin could dive an ADC and just guarantee a kill? At that point might as well code in a 500,000 true damage nuke on any assassin if they get into melee range of an ADC.

In reality, there are so many scenarios that the combo either works or doesn't. Exhaust doesn't save Twitch from Nautilus, or Vi, or any of those. You can only exhaust one guy.

At the same time, redemption requires you to stay in that circle. ADC typically needs to kite back or die, so he has to make the decision between staying and hoping he lasts or running and not getting it at all, nullifying its effects. From personal experience, any squishy can't afford staying in the circle for 2 seconds under an actual dive.

You're right though. The support is working as intended, keeping the ADC alive from assassins. Remember, it's a 2v1. Nearly all champions aren't designed TO 2v1, excluding a few such as Brand, Illaoi and Darius (Liable to be more, don't wanna open up the champion roster).

No assassins currently in the game is -designed- to 2v1 (By designed, I mean their kit grows in power with more enemy champions present noticeably, i.e why Irelia is excluded.) As an assassin, you can't expect to dive a squishy who has teammates protecting him directly and expect to win, especially a support who's whole purpose is to assist other players. All in all, the support class is a direct counter to the assassin class with the items tailored to them and the meta they follow, but obviously in a team scenario.

Exhaust and flash are apples and oranges. One is an instant mobility spell with no cost and one is a combat modifier. Really non-comparable, and flash adds heavy value that people don't often account for such as giving every champion in the game the potential for mobility, which really helps immobile champions. Of course Zed, Kha, etc can flash too, but it at least -opens- up an option for mobility, not simply increase the options.

I'd compare exhaust to barrier and heal, 3 similar summoner spells that all do different things but all act as combat modifiers. Exhaust slows them and decreases resistances, allowing you to deal more damage via staying on them and less resistance. Also slows attack speed so you live longer to deal more damage/lifesteal if applicable. Barrier gives you a large, flat pool of health for two seconds to 100% absorb any damage up to a limit, doing the same thing as the exhaust's attack speed portion. Heal grants a little ms and less effective health, but it's permanent (Affected by grievous wounds.)

Their CDs are also similar, exhaust being 210, heal at 240 and barrier at 180.

Personally I think Twitch is seeing large success due to his assassin-adc damage type. He can come out of stealth and deal very heavy burst as well as do amazing sustained damage. The removal of vision on stealth via pink wards also heavily helped him with roaming. If he needed stealth on demand prior, he would've died by the time it started due to in combat delay so seeing him now in camo is really not all that special besides that he can't cheese you by walking up to your fucking boot, toss a cask 1 ft to your face, and gun you down before you get out of range. Bork received buffs, always favorable for twitch. Heavy AD items saw a little hit, good for twitch. Berserker's was buffed, good for Twitch. And overall, assassins are seeing large success right now due to the meta, so Twitch, like Vayne (Although it was her 70% AD Q that broke her) flourishes since he plays like an assassin.

none of the above are broken in any way. redemption has a huge channel time, exhaust is weak as fuck atm and locket is almost useless except in certain key moments
