Can we talk about how underwhelming ranked rewards are?

This is my reference point

Before I begin, I want to make it clear I'm not picking on gold players, nor am I advocating the idea of taking away rewards from gold players. But gold is now 22% of the player base, which statistically is still above average. But 22% hardly feels like much of an accomplishment and it makes acquiring plat/diamond feel less rewarding when you get the exact same rewards minus different borders. By the way, the old borders were way better, please bring them back.

I feel like plat/diamond should get additional rewards for achieving these leagues. Some suggestions would be a mastery emote, or a free champion mastery 7 of our choosing. Something that would be along the lines of actually saying "hey, you didn't settle for gold and you climbed higher, congrats here's some free shit that cost us nothing to give you."

So don't get me wrong, I don't want gold players to lose anything they gain. But I do think higher tiers should be getting something more..
