.... you can play literally anything in Bronze and Silver with a decent win rate. Riot Gromp just stated he was Gold V at the time of his punishment. GOLD V MEANS MOST OF HIS WINS WERE DURING BRONZE/SILVER.

This is where we break from the Support ticket linked in the original reddit discussion. Real talk, this player is far from the only support in Gold V to skip out on a Sightstone.

If you tried this in Diamond, you'd bury your team's chances ... this is what I continually kept saying; Anyone in Plat+ will understand that this guy was a troll of the highest order. Bronzies and the like will not think it is trolling because in bronze, anything is viable. It doesn't matter if you go Crittlesticks, AP Garen, Tank Mana Janna or whatever, you can win.

This is not the case against players that know what they are doing. You will get punished hard for trolling both in terms of gameplay and report rate. Justifiably so.

Yeah, I think everyone has realized at this point that he was in the wrong, and if they haven't I would like to meet the man with that thick of a skull.

Its not just the gameplay. His attitude towards a game that interacts with other 4 strangers and offering a ultimatum to his adc his just awful.

By the way, his support singed is like 40% winrate flat. He got his singed winrates positive by playing top. So it offers NOTHING at all.

I seriously dont know why the community is so fixed on the fact of his gamplay which is not the issue. I dont care about his mastery points, or his summoner spells.

Like if this bs goes through, then to a extreme I can go full tyler 1 midlane run or disco nunu if my sup is crap, for a attempt to go to the next game because I can win with more better results than with this support with good time efficiency. I can just say "yeah, Im trying to win more so im going to the next match to win more, and since also Im a alpha male you cant report me lulz. Ya nancy beta"

Perception is a thing. You could buff support singed by 0.01% and have a bunch of people call it OP and suddenly his win rate would go up. I'm sorry, but even a number like 40% isn't good enough if people are negatively perceiving and possibly throwing the game over the champion choice. Especially when he's hitting a skill wall. Optimization might even turn his win rate around or since ages is gone it is possible his ability to carry is completely destroyed in season 7 even though it was a valid tactic in season 6.

Tanks are completely meta, especially damaging ones which means singed. The whole champ pool is determined who gets colossus or not.
