Yes I was. It's a pretty distinct IGN, isn't it?! I coached two Challenger teams on EUW for a small group called HotnSpicy. We even had a former LCS player (ForeIIenLord, Season 2 mid for Team Alternate). They probably didn't respond to you because the managers and I had a slight miscommunication: I asked to pick my own analyst, they thought I asked them to find one for me. I coached those teams for almost all of spring in S4. One team was for tournaments (the players were mostly too young at the time for LCS) that disbanded because of (to my understanding, multiple) family tragedies. The second team was ranked in the top 10 (8th or 9th, I think) on the last day before the Challenger Series deadline, then lost a couple matches just before the cut-off and fell out of top 10. After that, I took a job as an engineer and worked way too much overtime to coach anything less than full-time. I had actually been interviewed to be Head Coach of Dignitas last Spring, but they hired Rico (who I actually think did a fine job considering what he had to work with).
I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to interview you to be my analyst. You can probably tell how badly the NA LCS is hurting for good coaches and staff. I was looking forward to interviewing for the position more extensively to help develop more talent in the region. As an engineer I think the job is pretty easy, but one that many people don't know how to effectively go about. And in the western regions, it shows.
Add me if you'd like and when I can get League to launch, (which it currently will not) I'll happily show you the ropes. You can hone your skills with a Bronze to Diamond rank team, that's what I did at first.
