Not saying I want them, just wondering why haven't they gone throw? Was sure those would land to live in some form or fashion.

I asked the same question about a month ago and a (really biased) Riven main explained to me that they took away a lot of the skill from her kit, made her more boring to play with, as, and against, and made her less healthy for the game since she could nuke entire teams instead of only being able to execute low health enemies.

I feel the whole "Losing skill and making her boring" thing was them being salty, but the way the edge mechanic effected her ult was undeniably bad for the game because it meant she could charge up her edge and unleash a massive nuke on the whole enemy team instead of a minor nuke that killed low health targets.

Pretty sure that the Edge changes made Riven even stronger for experienced players while not being much different for inexperienced players sot they scrapped it.

I mean if I read the edge changes right, Rivens that auto'd between spells and chained combos would be rewarded and people that spammed would be punished. That basically sums her up with her current kit. The only real difference I saw was the loss of execution on ult.

Just go on youtube and find the clip where boxbox plays the edge riven on pbe and destroys everyone while being very bored and unsatisfied. He explains that the changes make her really strong but he doesn't want them because it made riven require far less thought or mechanics to bring out most of her potential than liver riven, and also made her more boring and obnoxious to play against on the other team.

riven is strong as hell to me, she does sooo much dmg. I saw the "Edge" Riven sweep the floor against a darius top lane so ya that must be some broken stuff....

Riven in general sweeps the floor against Darius. As long as you make sure the blade portion of his Q doesn't hit you, it's pretty hard to fuck up, you just do more damage unless he gets his bloodrage stacks going quickly, and your insane mobility makes it really easy not to get hit by. While you might think otherwise at first, you beat Darius by staying right next to him in trades, as Riven.

i think the problem is her low cooldowns. she has low cooldowns while being manaless. on her W and E the cooldowns are far too low. and a shield that scales of AD is a dream come true to any ad champion. look at lee sin. do i like lee sin. no. hes annoying as shit. but his shield scales off ap as hes an ad champion. same thing goes for udyr. shield/dash combo is op. you gotta love the riven turret dives. and the fact that you can't turret dive her because of her W. i don't think shes op at all. just a champion with exploitable things.
