I've played on the PBE and you definitely aren't getting a lock on how good a champ is or isn't on there, but when you bring them to live you can't expect to get a good read if you only get to see her in blinds when there's a premade team letting each other take turns with that champ.
I actually want to learn how to play with/against new champs. Having them banned all the time is annoying

I wouldnt mind if they made it so you cannot ban the new champ in normal draft but you cannot pick it in ranked for 1-2 weeks after the release

New champs need to be permabanned from ranked games for the first week but unable to be banned in norms for the first week.

If she is popular in the future I'll start banning her in an instant and I know she's popular now so I'll be banning her now. I don't ever plan on learning how to play against her because CertainlyT champs are simply not worth the pain. Banning the most popular CertainlyT champ is easily the best use of a ban.
