This year didnt really have much mobility creep.

Ive seen a couple people complaining about movement on the champions that came out, looking at season 8 there wasnt really that much.

Champions that came out: (Zoe came out preseason last year, but ill add her for more examples) Reworks: (Evelynn came out in october, but being the last rework of last year im adding her too)

Of the new champions, Pyke is an assassin who cant build health, yet he has 1 dash tied to his stun, and movespeed+invis. Technically his Ult can be mobility, but only in, and its an execute. Zoe isnt mobile at all, her R is technically a blink, but then she goes back, if you get behind her... she might one shot you, but that isnt mobility. Kaisa is very mobile especially for an ADC. Just a mobile champion.

Of the reworks Ezreal stayed the same Nunu's movespeed... became slightly faster People complain a lot about Akali, but she was very mobile before her rework, not quite as much as she is right now. But she was EXPECTED to have several dashes considering what her old ult was. Aatrox is kind of equal, his old dash was a hard to land cc as well, and was much farther range. That was replaced by really small dashes to help land his Q. I think this is technically a downgrade in mobility. Irelia is insane, but like Akali was mobile pre-rework as well (not as mobile, and shes fucking insane. But thats not what this post is about) Swain isnt mobile, period Evelynn isnt mobile, technically her Ult has some added mobility but similar to pyke, it is an execute which means you want to use it to last hit, not for mobility. And if you do Evelynns prob wont kill anything.

So yes, there are some mobile champions that came out this year. But the reworks were already mobile. And it is understandable why Pyke is. And while the existence of a mobile ADC isnt a bad thing (considering they were going for one, like ) I would argue that BALANCE BESIDE Kaisa being mobile is fine.

Im pretty sure some people are gonna be upset about me saying anything about certain champions if it isnt COMPLETELY bashing them (akali/Irelia/Kaisa) but this post isnt about the balancing of those champions, just the existence of their kit.

So yeah, just my whole 2 cents on mobility creep, and also looking at knockups, there werent too many this year, which is also nice for the "tenacity is useless" trend of last year.
