Irrefutable proof that Lucian passive did count as 2 stacks for the original Rageblade.

If you skip to anywhere after 46:00 minutes in the first video, you will see that Lucian passive did stack the original rageblade twice, because Lucian passive does count as 2 individual basic attacks.

The original and current rageblade only counts on-attacks as a stack, but as you can see in the video, Lucian passive did stack the original one twice.

For the item reference.... V0.9.25.21 Added Guinsoo's Rageblade item Guinsoo's Rageblade Recipe: Pickaxe item Pickaxe + Blasting Wand item Blasting Wand + Gold 400 On attack or spell cast, increases your attack speed by 4% and ability power by 6. Lasts 5 seconds (stacks up to 8 times).

Further proof that Lucian passive is actually 2 attacks is in his champ spotlight. Skip to 00:50 of the video and you hear the narrator stating this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rIiuLXXGEg&t=52s

Even more evident is the way Lucian passive stacks item 3087 item 3094 and Fleet foot. His passive stacks them twice. These items also count on-attack as a stack (the same as rageblade), yet rageblade for some reason only gets 1 stack from Lucian passive.

So why is riot pretending that suddenly Lucian passive is not 2 attacks, but 1 attack with 2 on-hit effects? This is a blatant lie to prevent Lucian from really using Rageblade.

Riot needs to make his passive consistent in the way it stacks all items. Either its stacks item 3087 item 3094 item 3124 and Fleet foot once, or all of them twice.

Hell, even the new item 3508 counts Lucian passive as 2 stacks...

His passive should at no point stack item 3124 any differently than item 3087 item 3094 or Fleet foot.

Wait I thought rageblade stack was an "on-attack" effect, so that you still stack it while blinded or through panth passive or through counterstrike for example. Lucian passive applies "on-hit" effects twice. The two are considered separate.

Edit: Oh okay I get what you're saying. Yeah if Lucian passive applies on-attack effects for other things it should apply for rageblade. It should be coded the same as Master Yi double strike. I don't even see why is would be overpowered, he sucks right now.

Thats wrong and thats what I'm trying to claritfy with this post.

item 3087 passive from the wiki states the following

UNIQUE – SHIV LIGHTNING: Your next basic attack (on-attack) sparks lightning to up to 5 nearby units, dealing 60 - 140 (based on level) bonus magic damage.

As you can see, item 3087 item 3094 item 3124 all stack on-attack, but for some reason, item 3124 only gains 1 stack while item 3094 item 3087 gain 2 stacks from his passive.

Do you see the inconsistency?

Didn't Shiv and Cannon stack on-hit? I think even Ezreal can stack them with his Q, and it is an on-hit ability, not attack. I guess it is wrong wording on Shiv and Cannon.

Abilities that proc on-hit effects are considered on-attack abilities. So Shyv Q both hits, GP Q, Renekton W all 3 hits, etc. all stack Rageblade.

Because Muramana is still an item.

As much as I love Muramana and its "Single Spell/Autoattack" effect, Lucian would be way too powerful with a one item spike.

Lucian's passive is considered on-attack for the purposes of items like this. It not working with Rageblade is a bug.

I lied the wiki says only on-hits as well.

I think it happened at some point when rageblade has the aoe-onbhit at max stats. They also screwed his supprisingly high synergie with runaan's aswell with it(it used to shoot bolts with the full damage on both attacks).

Also, even though SS adn co say 'attacks' in their tooltip, it's very well possible that they work as on-hit, since Riots tooltips are awfull and they have no clear wording rules for that stuff. However, i really don't see why it shouldn't be counted as two attacks...

Pretty sure both SS and RFC are considered on-hits, so they stack faster with Runaans. I'll test it out.

Edit: Nope, SS's and RFC's stacking are on-attack effects. Most likely the energize attack is on-hit though.

the attack is definitly on-hit, as it procs on EZ Q. Yet it also uses the term 'attack' in the tooltip just like the stacking up. They really need to clean up their wording around on-hit and onattack stuff...

Lucian's passive doesn't stack any on-attack effect twice. It doesn't stack Statikk nor Firecannon twice. It's consistent across all on-attack effects. The new Essence Reaver is not an on-attack but an on-hit effect. The old rageblade too was an on-hit and not an on-attack effect.

You know you can link us the video from the moment you want to showcase us?

Edit: that burst at 47:06 is retarded. Gj Rito.
