by that I mean she excels at fighting other melees,

they both deal very high damage if your stupid enough to not build armor

people qq about her needing 'hotfixed/nerfed etc'

No because unlike Riven she can't hold you in place and make you unable to fight back.

Riven has a knock up and a stun, Illaoi just has her soul tether.

Until Illlaoi gets nerfed then a new champ comes that is a toplane fighter and a post that says "would you call ____ the 'new illaoi"

Illaois E sends a portion of the damage done to the spirit back to you. No matter how much armor you have, It will do the same. Thats the problem with illaoi, Shes basically a true damage tank

Yes but the percentage of the damage transferred is the same :] so if gour spirit dies it does not matter how much armor you have

No the spirit has your armor meaning you'll take reduced damage due to armor and the fact you take only a percentage of your spirit's damage. Ignorance slays all.

Yes but ill repeat myself. If the person kills your spirit, it doesnt matter if you had 500 armor or 0 armor. Your spirit died with the same health and that percentage gets transferred over.
