Playing her as and against, ive noticed majority of people I lane against when as, don't go in on her after she misses her e, why?
That's a lot of SELF utility she just missed.

Apocalypsic3 votesUh, maybe because just her Q and W pre six will make you instalose the trades anyways as a melee.
Her landing E just rips away your health bar for no reason and honestly is still the most frustrating spell in the game, even with the time reduction on the vessel debuff.

I also love people who cry when she gets ganked and both players follow lvl 6 Illaoi into the bush, don't ward it despite knowing her E is up, then complains that she got a double kill.

she loses her sustain if you can avoid both it and her q, I'm not saying you have to avoid every one, but remember they're slow and easily sidestepped if you just watch for the indicator. of course sometimes damage is unavoidable if you want farm etc ( but you have to give it up sometimes to deny illaoi her strengths.) and yes, one less tentacle.
but one less tentacle does make an enormous difference when actually fighting her. as that's denying
Think of it denying half her ultimates strength when you fight her in lane one extra instead of 2-3 depending on many variables,

Those are all fair points.
I would like them to fix Illaoi's Q hitbox at least. There's definitely issues there.
I think a lot of frustration from fighting her at least from my own point of gameplay is that I really feel like I'm dodging it, and visually I'm out of its hitbox indicator and I still get hit which chunks really hard...
