The ability to just dash in, near instantly take a buff WHILE THE ENEMY JUNGLER IS DOING IT and just leave is what I call bullshit

You can attack him at any point of the channel to interrupt.

Did you seriously keep doing the camp while Ivern was stealing it?

Ivern sacrifices a large portion of health every time he does that early game. Just jump on him and kill him.

Are you not getting a leash or warding over the wall? Ivern is taking a huge risk by stealing the first buff when there are usually 2 allies with the enemy jungler. He also needs vision of the camp to steal it meaning either you can see him or you should have seen his ward being placed to know that he is over the wall.

this was a leash from the buff with only 1 person, (so topside buff) as for his vision, he didnt need that, he just walked up, used Q to get over the wall and took it, since we were both level 1 there was only so much we could do, i tried attacking him, figuring it would stop the channel...which it didn't, then to follow up, he started walking away after stealing the buff, due to our lack of levels and him getting level 2, killing him was damn near impossible as he had shield and Q, and then the enemy top laner came to assure his escape, no way to stop him, since neither of us had hard CC and when we did get close, all he had to do was throw Q, Didnt ward as no one had came up to the point where the buff spawned, and i figured he couldnt channel while being attacked

And that's if I'm not missing anyone. Stop trying to grasp at straws. Ivern is a support jungler. Most champions can drop him in a solo fight under most circumstances.

when he has level 2 advantage and just walks away, most junglers cant do shit other then let him walk away with their buff

If he stole it while at almost full health then you lost almost nothing in comparison to him. You still have smite while he does not and you can easily just go bot side buff straight to his bot side buff because he now needs around 37 seconds to get his bot buff after reaching it without his smite being up.

i wasn't the jungler, but do you not put yourself at risk as your still level 1 and have no leash to clear the rest of your jungle? while ivern is already level 2

A jungler should be able to easily solo their buff at level 1. You shouldn't be playing a champion in the jungle if you can't solo the buff with little risk.

yeah, but if your doing a buff and ivern walks up, is it not likely that your gonna be killed by the entire enemy team...since that always seems to happen when i try to counter jungle

That's a different issue, but if that happens every time you counterjungle, you aren't counterjungling well. It's a lot of thinking about who can collapse on you, how strong you are vs each enemy that could be there, where they most likely have vision, and how much time you need to get in and out if they don't end up rotating ASAP. It's a champion based thing so it's difficult. And if you see the enemy team rotating GET OUT, they shouldn't be able to walk in and kill you in maybe 50% of situations.
