Dorian's Blade Needs a Unique Passive

Too many games I see carries and junglers stacking dorians blade and getting bloodthirster levels of healing and tanks level health stats. Why can Dorians blade stack and not dorians shield? Which dorians shield is the worst of the three. It is blatant favoritism of a damage meta. I can even prove it with the recent item additions mainly being assassin based lethality additions. Not one defensive item has been changed or altered to help against damage except maybe for the randuins buff which was only a measly 10 armor.

Make the lifesteal a unique passive already. Im tired of seeing an adc with 14% lifesteal off only runes and two to three dorians blades.

The vaule of stacking dorians blades counteracts the selling debuff to the item pathing of how many dorians blades you have purchased. + 8 attack damage +80 hp and +3% lifesteal stacked three times equates to +24 attack damage +240 hp and +9% lifesteal for only a measly 1500 gold. A phage cost 1250 gold and only gives you 200 hp and 15 damage with a small movement speed buff that is pretty small. Now how is it balanced to buy three dorians blades instead of doing an actual item path. The advantage of stacking dorians blades early for cheaper and better stats just ruins the state of the game.

I'm not sure it is. Doran's Blade occupies an item slow you can't use to build into other things, and falls off FAST compared to actual item purchases. Each one you sell also costs you 270 gold that you could use for other things, so if you buy three and have to sell them you're putting yourself almost a thousand gold behind on an actual build.

If your statement it true then why are people still abusing it??? The fact that the stack gives you an unfair advantage early game in an early game meta is sickening. How are you trying to sell the same shit with a different label? It has been proven that you are wrong. Carries know the game better than you do obviously.

See, if this were true and it WAS a reliable advantage rather than an occasional cheese strategy, I'd expect to see this being doing in pro games. It isn't. I also couldn't really find a game you were in where it looked like someone did that successfully, although if you have one you'd like me to take a look at I'd be interested.

I mean, I'm not lying. I'm just another player who hasn't seen that trend appear on Probuilds or in your own match history. I will admit I'm not caught up on the preseason pro scene though, so I may take a look.

There is your problem you are not watching the games. You are using a program that does not keep up to date enough to see the trend. Go watch any mid to high elo game. Every adc is abusing it. It is like saying you know what is going on in baseball just because you have stats on a computer program when everyone knows that actually playing the game and watching the players makes the biggest difference that the computer program cannot offer or take into account.

Except with average game times being so low that isn’t really a disadvantage.

I mean cool they get a ton of lifesteal... which amounts to less than a item 1053 unless you go beyond 3 which would be stupid. Also tank lvls of HP? 80 HP per item? "But they build 3!" Which means they are occupying 3 whole item slots for something they could get way more with other items. Yes It's a very quick powerspike that comes at a cost, which is delaying actual good items.

I had VS a cait bot lane that had 4 D. Blades and it was dumb for her damg and heal output...free crits=harder heals. It was beating a BF Sword in damg trades.

Oh noes... she was beating your single component item with 4 items... that is like complaining that someone with a bunch of long swords is doing more damage than you with your single BF sword.
